Time for a new PvP zone????

I don't know about any1 else but RV is gettin boring. I think its time for a new lvl 50 PvP zone with new objectives and player ranking system after 400 PvP points.

Only 5 players per side at the highest rank on both sides can turn into a Hero/Arch Villain for a short period of time and gain new skills while in the transformed state. with greater HP,End,Regen and so on...

It's called arena.

Considering how hard people can be to kill in zones when they team / use and stack incarnate destiny's especially incandescence (which isn't a bad thing) there is zero need to take a few select players and buff them up to elite boss level, let alone AV/Hero.

Its hard to justify a new pvp zone when out of all the servers and all the pvp zones pretty much only RV on freedom sees any signifcant traffic.

*edit* also if RV is getting boring, Donna has a great point. Arena gives you a lot more zones to PvP in if you can convince other people to come along.

Eden, Pereze Park, Dark Astoria, Skyway, Steel Canyon, a Tech Lab, Cargo Ship, troll caves, etc. The trick is getting people to show up and play.

Before any time and money is spent on a PvP zone, shouldn't PvP be fixed?

Fixing PvP would go a long way towards helping you with the boredom of RV, then you could use Warburg or Sirens or the Bay since players might actually be there PvPing...

I'd honestly prefer a /duel command so we can PVP in any zone before a dedicated zone was created.

I'm going to have to agree with supermax here. PvP in this game is too far gone. There is a reason maybe 1% of the player base regularly participate in pvp... because it's generally considered as crap by most people you ask. Its a restricted sloppy version of the game IMO, and why would people want to play that?

As far as another pvp zone, what's the point? There are currently 4 pvp zones plus a arena that are ghost towns on almost every server. If you ask me I doubt pvp will see any significant changes for the rest of this games lifespan for the simple fact that from a business standpoint it makes little to no sense to work on a part of the game that hardly anyone plays. Especially when people will pay 10 bucks for a lame leprechaun.

PvP doesn't get much for updates.
The percentage of the players that PvP is small compared to everyone else playing.
However, PvP players are very vocal.
One day Jack said, "Let there be PvP."
And there was, and it was pretty much a bummer.
I-13 tried to 'fix' PvP.
Why not ask, "If we reintroduced, from scratch, PvP, starting with the PvE game as the base, what would it look like?"
Instead of fixing TS/HD and stuff like that, rethink PvP as if Jack's PvP never existed.

If we're only going to get one PvP update every four years, make it count. Redo PvP completely, a lot of Macskull's suggestions would help too.

I generally HATE PvP in most games. From I9 to I13 I played PvP in this game and liked it.

I refuse to play PvP in this game in its present state, so I have to say no to a new PvP zone and yes to repairing PvP.

fix PvP. I am all for a new zone with random spawn point so no base camping.

Lvl 5 PvP is about it these days. Besides that's about the max effort I'll put into a PvP toon anymore.

They should just make a Arena Architect and we the players can make our own zones to fight in. It could have the same process as building a base and we can pick the rules. Players can use them and vote on the best zones.
