I noticed a few on my global list in this and came here to see what was up.

Already 19/20, sigh.

Next time, I'll have to pay more attention.

A trifle! We're already spread out from low teens to low twenties after only two sessions. Still a good time to join us!

It's always this way. We have a casual attitude, but the greyhounds on the team run at a relentless pace, and they reach fifty pretty quickly (3 months or so). The rest of us mutts trickle in in the following 4-6 weeks. But the whole pack plays together the whole way.

We're starting to get scary. The buffs and debuffs are stacking, and we haven't even gotten to the good ones yet. Nothing like standing in a sea of 6 or 8 Time's Junctures!

Now that we've got a couple sessions under our belt, I just wanted to toss out a few tactics that I think will be helpful for our teams. Some fall under "no duh", but are worth mentioning anyway.

  • It's your responsibility to keep the Temporal Selection buff on the teammate listed below you in the team list. If you're on the bottom, you buff the top person. If/When you slot enough recharge enhancements in it to be able to keep two teammates permanently buffed, then you should buff both the teammate listed below and above you.
  • Don't hang in the back of the crowd. It's natural when playing squishy ATs to hang back and use your ranged powers. That's not what we want to do here. With everyone running Time's Junction, we want to take advantage of it. Get right up in the middle of the bad guys and start smacking them in the face. With 8 people hitting the bad guys with -ToHit and -Dmg, we start turning into tanks pretty quickly.
  • Stay together. Temporal Mending, Farsight, Chrono Shift, and the Leadership powers are all PBAoE, so we need to be near each other to take advantage of everything. If you stray out on your own, you won't be in range for healing, and you may run into enemies that aren't being debuffed as much as the others.

not to tangent, but i did buy some (namely the 24 count) good/evil booster packs. granted my numbers aren't supior as to others on the forums. but my results:

-for those after the costume pieces only...it took me 11 of 24 +/- 1 to get all the pieces. ((this was a my purpose of the packs, yes the other goodies were nice but my main objective)
-i got a lot of enhancement boosters...i think my total is near 50-60 +/-7 ((i did have some from previous token rewards))
-i got a fair amount of unslotters, but more of the boosters.
-i would say i got a fair amount of the inps...not alot but at least a couple of each color/combo for both personal and team...so i shall pop those as needed
-I got a few of the revival powers for both myself and others...which means is now a rezzer!
-I got 2 Archanos (one being the proc), 2 Keld, 1 controller (hmm, wonder who is getting that ), 1 corr (i think it was the proc), 1 stalker, 1 scrapper, and 1 dom.****
-I got 4 of the catalyst boosters...
-if not stated, i got 53+/- 3 claims for (25 merits) so do 53ish x 25 and boom there is my total of reward merits...haven't done the math yet so you get my lazy conversion has stated :P

**** For the record, i don't know if this is wai or bugged. but the last i checked once claimed, you were to be given the reciepe which could be traded/sold on the market. Well that did not happen.(?, for my confusion) Once claimed it popped up as a crafted enhancement...which means to me, that the ATIO's are now account bound regardless and that there is no reciepe form to trade. Last i paid attention to for this controversy, it was tobe a reciepe. But what the hell do i know? I got the points to spare, so i may buy another couple here or there and play around some more.

edit: did some reading and i guess the fact that ATIO's are claimed as an enhancement rightaway is WAI...just also wanted to say. if anyone is looking to complete any of the sets for alts and i happen to have a piece you need, let me know and i am more then willing to work out a deal with you (and one that wont rob you of all inf).

Great fun on Sunday. RL interrupted last Friday so I missed the inagrual outing, but I caught up quick.

(Thanks for the shout out King, nice to be back again!)

As to the West Coast late arrival. There have been a couple times I remember getting in late and both teams were TF'ing away. There was an offer to restart on both occasions. I think I chose to spend some inf at WW and slot up.

And I agree with the tactics thing. I say jump in the middle like you're a tanker, and let the slows do their thing.

I'm finding that Ice Blast may not have been necessary to add to the slowness. the baddies are melting like crazy with the beams focused on them.

Makes me wonder if we can root Synapse in the LRSF.

-PC
aka Perpetual Cold (time), Proton Chill (rad), Clay Pebble (earth), Talon Spirit (blade), Penumbral Current (dark)

@Rock Flash
Guardian is my home server, but will play for fun anywhere

This might be possible. If I get around to it, I'll hit him with a power analyzer and take a peek at his stats.

Baub and I rolled in late tonight. We got a flat on the freeway that turned into hours waiting on new tires.

I think that there's enough people that are 20+ to start going rogue. Time to start making excursions to blueside for tfs and give hero timers a chance to join.

I completely missed yesterdays D:

Had a haircut that was some time in the morning and ended up not coming home until sometime after 6pm. Boooooo.

Like most Sundays, I might miss that too, but I might catch the end of it maybe.

Welcome! Glad to see more new blood joining us. I'm proud that we inspired your first post on the boards too!

It's not too late to join us for Time Manipulation goodness. We're just about to enter our 3rd week on the project, but we always try to include everyone and catching up is usually quick, especially with a Double XP weekend coming up.

What did I miss over the weekend? Any good tales of villainy or hilarity? I look forward to Friday.

Justice Superteamer
Current Project - Water Blast Superteam starting Friday, 7/20/2012.
Come out and join us Fri/Sun 8pm ET on the "Justice Superteamers" channel.
All players welcome!

We learned that Slag Golems move really fast regardless of how many time manipulators you have on your team.

Weekly update: Most of the JSTers have completed the shift from vil-->rog. the level range is roughly 27/28ish to 31/32ish last time i checked. Which means those of you lurkers who are blueside and wish to join us should start watching our channel for the whats going down. this weekend will most likely be finishing up tips for those that need too and maybe a tf/sf of somesort.

So i guess i22 comes out next week, plus double xp weekend is right around the corner...do i sense a surge of new dark/time lowbies?

Protonic Reversal is 28ish, but still a villain. Slider and I snagged a few tips earlier to put us at 6 each, but I don't think we'll be able to get anymore tonight. To that end, I plan to stick with a villain team. Perhaps I'll warm up with a few papers to get some progress on the Talos mayhem, then a Tarikoss, a Kal, and maybe a JST favorire: Renault.

Not a bad idea, but Darkness Affinity and Assault seem good too so I may wait for a chance at that pairing. Plus, I'm out again next weekend so will take the opportunity to get a few levels on Protonic.

See you all tonight!

If any hero timers wanted to join that weren't 25+, there's a few tf's that can be ran. Posi is 10+, Synapse is 15+, Sis P is 20+ and Moonfire is 23+. If someone wants to bring a new dark affinity or assault character next week, we could run a mission team to get them xps. The low levels fly by in these groups.

Ok... I broke down before Dark Control goes live tomorrow and made a Time/DP defender by the name of "A Rangle in Time"...

I'll also be making a dark/time controller when I get a chance. Altitis, it multiplies...

Ah...altitis, the gift that keeps on giving. Love the Wrinkle in Time reference.

Welcome to the group. Feel free to call out for a team on the the superteamers channel. There should be a group on later today to check out the I22 goodness.

Unfortunately my schedule for the next week will probably prevent me from seeing the light of day until late Sunday, or Monday. But I will say howdy when I get the opportunity.

Show up when you can. The defenders have started picking up chrono shift and I believe there's a few corruptors and trollers that are getting close as well. We've been tearing through everything like a hot knife through butter, so any lowbies in the group won't stay lowbies for long.

I have been wanting to catch up with this group and run some missions with my DP/Time Corruptor, but have been weirdly occupied this past two weeks. Hopefully this weekend I can find the time.

No problem, Erratic. We look forward to having you join when you can. With 2xp weekend around the corner, alot of ground can be made up for those with crazy schedules.

We are officially getting scary. The defenders have had Chronal Shift for a few sessions, and the corruptors and controllers are starting to pick it up. With only two shifters on my team last night, my Phantom Army was already just seconds short of permanent. We can already keep Temporal Selection on two teammates full time. The stacking is just insane.

On another note...I was thinking of going for the Psionic Mastery APP on my ill/time controller (for thematic reasons as well as for the powers). But when I looked at the numbers, I wasn't that impressed. But I've never played it before, so...what is the general consensus on that APP? Is it OK in practice?

I went psionic mastery on my fire/kin troller and I rather like it. Indomitable will is click mez protection. It's not perma by default, but with all the recharge buffs that are being thrown it will be. Mind over body is a resist toggle. Nothing spectacular, but it's not bad. It also gives that elusive psi resist, smashing, lethal, psi resist, to be exact. It's a good place to stick an Aegis proc. The psinado is fun and does okay damage. It also works against high level invulns like States, Reichs and The Honoree. I didn't bother with mental blast or world of confusion. I suppose if you wanted another confuse, you could take that. But it's a PBAoE toggle with a short range and not enough mag to confuse lieuts.

My opinion is that it's a solid choice for trollers because of the mez protection. In theory, you could wait till you could pick up Clarion for mez protection, but that doesn't help you during these levels.

It was great having you Rangle, hope to cya sunday as well.

For sunday: i think the plan is to try get some on/another a +4 ITF, if need be i can grab one of my 50's and lead it or at least be on the non-ITF team since i was on it last night.
Speaking of 50's, grats goes to April Day/hedge for being the first 50 of the group! (which dethrones me, but i am in a close second agaisnt ara.)
