For sunday: i think the plan is to try get some on/another a +4 ITF, if need be i can grab one of my 50's and lead it or at least be on the non-ITF team since i was on it last night.
Speaking of 50's, grats goes to April Day/hedge for being the first 50 of the group! (which dethrones me, but i am in a close second agaisnt ara.)
That's really nice of you MP. If you want to run a team that is not a tf team to pick up latecomers, I can lead a +4 ITF.

Hi all,

I will not be able to make it tomorrow (Friday, the 23rd) night. I will be heading out of town to see family. I may be back in time for Sunday, but not 100% sure.

If I don't see you on Sunday, happy playing and hope to see a few new 50's next week.

Apparently I'm not making it tonight either. Hadn't even realized the time until just now, and I still have a long list of things I need to do tonight. Too bad, I haven't logged in Chronosian since 2xp weekend. I have some new powers to play with now!

Another great night last night.

Thanks to all who showed up and the final few that put Perpetual Cold over the top and newest 50 of the group.

This has to be the fastest I've gotten to 50 ever. The buffs/debuffs from multiple time characters is crazy. We are mowing them down.

Now, it's time to help everyone else level up, then take on the incarnate content with extreme prejudice.

Thanks all, and see you soon.

So, the WST is finally one we can do (Kal). Maybe start with that on Friday, then finish off SSA #7?

And Dark Astoria on Sunday?

Protonic Reversal is 2 bubs into 49 so should hit 50 regardless of what we do. That's my only real goal for Friday. I will be on early and ready to roll out on something right at 8:00. I will miss Sunday and the following Friday (4/6) for yet another vacation (Vegas, baby!) I'll be back on Sunday 4/8, but it's Easter, so I may be late from family obligations.

As I mentioned last Sunday, I was hoping for a +4 LRSF/STF. I'd really like to see what we can do on some more challenging content now that most of the regulars are 50 and starting to get some incarnate work in. I was planning on a warm up with some of the mayhems I'm still missing (Bricks, FF, PI), hammering out a LRSF/STF, and then running the Ramiel arc for the newly minted 50s (I think Slider is also close and PC just hit 50 at the end of Sunday - big grats).

However, I'm not tied to that plan and can certainly be convinced to do both LRSF/STF and a WST, though I think most of us have done Kal so I'd push for Sutter, although it's a bit longer.

We'll probably have to make a gametime decision. If we don't get 8 45+, then high level TF is out (or will have to fill/pug). If we get heroes, then LRSF/Kal is out. If we get 12+, then we'll probably need to run both anyway.

On a different note, we seem to be steamrolling through most +4 content fairly well with large teams. Outside of large damage spikes (like from 54 Recluse), we're nearly undefeatable when together, buffing, and paying attention on all content so far. One thing that is noticable is that bosses take a while to go down, especially when we start running on smaller teams. Now, these are still +4/5 to most of us, so it is somewhat expected. +0/1 do melt like butter when we bother with them. In other words, we don't have huge weaknesses, but if I had to choose one it would be damage output. To this end, I have 3 ideas I'd like to submit to the group for thoughts:
1. Assault - I have this power, but often notice mine is the only one running. I've heard endurance issues as a reason for skipping it, but hopefully, we're now mostly out of the woods on that front with cycling Chronoshifts and well slotted powers. If anyone respecs (or hasn't picked up a power at level 49 yet), I suggest you try to incorporate this into your build. Perhaps, by this point, you have a power that you just don't use that much or was a novelty pick that can be replaced. It is slot-light as 1 or 2 EndRdx are all that is needed for most and can be selected by itself nearly at time. 15% damage from me doesn't have much impact, but 120% from all of us (18.75 from the defenders!) will.
2. Musculature Alpha - Our buffs pretty much take care of just about everything else I need so this is a no brainer for me. I think Persona went Intuition as a controller, but I'm going all damage on my corr - Core Musculature is a no brainer.
3. Interface is a little less clear - I'll probably go with the obvious stand by of Reactive for the -res, but how do Degen's -Max HP and Diag's -regen compare on team DPS? Anything that helps us kill faster sounds good.

These are the routes I intend to take to help our kill speed a bit. This is certainly not a "you should do this too", but more of a "What do you guys think? Any alternate ideas?"

BK

PS - Mezzes are also a bit of an issue for us, but I see those as an annoyance more than something that truly degrades our performance. I plan to combat that annoyance with Clarion, but doubt we'll need a lot of those for most things.

.
Yep, i went intuition...the radial gives a +damage as well...granted the T3 isn't as good as musculature...but still a boost.

I don't know about the numbers with the various interfaces...i went with cog for theme purposes...i think envy is only t3 for degen and is focused only on the toxic proc.

That's about where Zeleia is, too. Your plan sounds good. Just trying to throw out ideas so we aren't all staring at each other come Friday.

As for damage, I noticed our slow speed vs. hard targets, too. It's tempting to ascribe it to the fact we are mostly defenders and controllers (even though we have a lot of -res and -regen). As much as I have enjoyed playing Illusion Control, I do miss blasting things. My ice/time corruptor is still level 22, though.

I got the Dark Astoria explore badge for the SG and the Dark Astoria beacon. However due to my inept base editing skills, the beacon is stuck to the wall instead of the teleporter like the rest of them. I assume you have to do something sneaky to get it there. Please feel free to fix!

Duct tape. I forgot to leave the duct tape next to the porters. My bad. Sorry about that.

Actually, in order to attach beacons or any other wall mounted items to teleporters or anything that you would like wall items attached to, the trick is to place a cubicle where you would like the item, connect the item to the cubicle and delete cubicle.

I've got some RL stuff to deal with at the moment, but as soon as I'm done, I'll get to it.

EDIT- I upgraded the porters to the new hacked telepads and attached the beacons. While I was in the base editor, I noticed we were sitting at about 7 million prestige. This is enough to make a really huge base. My question is-does somebody else want to try their hand at base building? I can do it and have no problem with that. But before I did, I wanted to see if someone else wanted to give it a go.

I can help out if you're too busy or not interested. My creative skills are lacking, though. I can handle the functional stuff but not the decorative stuff.

Interesting observation: by virtue of our having been doing Dark Astoria stuff, I came close to unlocking Judgement/Interface before slotting Alpha. OK, not really close, and part of that was due to incoherent choice of component rewards, but still. In the past I've usually hit T3 Alpha before getting any significant progress toward the other slots.

The DA arcs have been an interesting challenge level. At times, the snake ladies were hitting us pretty hard at +3. But because the bosses are all EBs and not AVs (*), the final battles weren't disproportionately hard.

(*) Intentionally, it has been stated, to keep the arcs viable for solo/small-teams. Although they are brainstorming on ways to up the challenge for big groups without AVs.

It's not that I don't have the time or I'm not interested, my thought is that if the base is going to revamped, then it would be nice if it reflected the style of the group. Everybody has put a lot of effort into earning prestige.

Don't sell yourself short creativity wise. You always have an interesting back story written and a well designed costume for your characters. One of my favorite parts of a new team is seeing what you've come up with. If you would like to make the base a collaborative effort, I would really like that.

Forgot to reply to this earlier. I'll pitch in, but probably in a limited way.

Friday saw our visit to IP to say farewell to Statesman. It went smoothly even though I forgot to throw my Phantom Army at Recluse so MP had to do it all.

For Sunday, we could do another 45+ TF if people are collecting for their Alpha slot. Or maybe the WST if people need to be Noticed by the Well. Or I think someone said they still had some missions at the end of the DA arc. I like the grand finale, personally. The opening scene reminds me a lot of that great part in Tin Mage TF where everyone's assembled in the portal room.

I did a few trials on Zeleia and learned two things. (1) With seven of them, and that I haven't done any in a few months, they don't feel like a grind anymore. (2) I also forgot details of what to do in a couple places and had to wander around like a n00b.

It was fun! i feel so powerful with my near perma-PA...Now i feel like i gets to brag that i tanked (somewhat) LR on pride and now yang. Granted, i did use my barrier since the group was by the web-core things and i didn't want aggro to spill over when the PA was gone for that split second.

How about doing Lord Recluse's strike force this friday (tomorrow)?
