Thanks for the laugh... I needed that... I just got back in from trying to lift an engine block onto a truck by hand in the freezing cold with clothes for summer... i feel much better.

US Senator, or politician in general, should not be a family vocation. He always came off as Kennedy clan lite. Political royalty.

I remember when the University of Connecticut Men's team was in the Final Four (maybe it was the Championship game) and Dodd was shown in his center court seats at the game, dressed in his expensive suit, rubbing shoulders with other famous/fabulous people while Joe Lieberman, Connecticut's other Senator, was spotted with friends in a downtown sports bar in Hartford watching the game with friends.

When Dodd left office he claimed he wouldn't become a lobbyist. It must be one of those "letter of the law/splitting hair" lawyer definitions because he sure seems to be a lobbyist to me.
