Hey all, had a thought for the next M&G. Here's my thought:

We meet at SpringField mall (it's metro accessable so it's easy to get to and parking shouldn't be anywhere near as huge of a deal as Arundel Mills was. Lets say 1:30pm is the target time frame to meet. We meet there. Spend... I donno a, hour or 2 hours for lunch and kibitzing and then we pile into cars and car pool down to the fredericksburg Muvico theater for the actual movie.

Thoughts for that?

im assuming springfield, virginia, since theres also a springfield, PA, but i know most of you guys are in the VA area

i might be able to do that, if its on a weekend i might not be able to do the 1:30 since thats avg time i get out of work, but i could be there by around 3, looking at directions on google maps it would take me approx 1 hour drive time

OMG A week later and I'm able to FINALLY upload my pics and the ebil video to show you guys.

So, I get home to Dallas, and find out my fiance (the owner of the camera I used) has Walking Pneumonia, Laryngitis, and Sinusitis. So I had to avoid him like the plague for a few days, which meant not being able to get the cord I initially needed to get these pics off the camera.

/e facepalm

So, without further adieu, the meet n greet pics, (plus a couple of my fiance from before I left. You can ignore those lol) and the EBIL EBIL VIDEO of Traegus getting his sombrero and ice cream at Chevy's.

By the way, Thanks, Traegus, for taking the birthday fall for me. February 23 is actually my birthday, but I didn't tell anyone ;O)

Im bummed that I missed this. I'm not on that much but I have been around for many years and would of loved to see some of the local yocals I will keep watch for any other events in then DMV.

The DC crew has managed at least two (three?) M&Gs so far, all on our own. If we did one, it'd probably be the last time we'd ever get together.

How does anyone feel about trying for a M&G before year's end? A better time to ask this question shoulda been six weeks ago, granted, but I'm being prodded to ask. I think it's a worthwhile venture, however; a last hurrah for the Capitol Crew.

Anyhow, Crazed Drifter has lead on this organize! Get with him for details, but it's looking like the 17th Nov 2012 is our best date, (short notice is short), and our best location is still Arundel Mills (since everyone knows where it is and the parking is MUCH easier now).

Hope you can make it... Obsidian Light and I will be coming in from TX...

The 17th should actually work well for me.

i would really like to go but ive had changes with my work schedule recently and i now work all day on saturdays, so there would be no chance for me to meet that day, depending on my schedule i could do friday, and prolly sunday afternoon

saturday is a no go for me though unless something changes before then but its unlikely

17th is a bit flexible. That seems like the best weekend though. I wanted to give us as much advance warning as possible, but the weekend after that is thanksgiving, and the one after that, well...

that weekend would be fine, just right now for the forseeable future my saturdays are currently booked by work, but i am available sunday afternoons and fridays usually

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one. The new wife and I will be flying back from our Honeymoon that day, and then we need to get packing for our move up to Boston. Still, I hope you all have a great time!
