Two Important Azuria Questions

Agent White

1. Does this happen often?

2. Barracuda Task Force. Who beat you to it*?

You barrel into City Hall, ready to cause mayhem and... there's Azuria, already crucified.

*I like Azuria, but I am playing a villain at the time.

I'll buy that. It's less horrific.

They put on ties and hope no one looks too close.

i have a feeling it's related to them now having those tunnels under Atlas Park. They come up through a secret basement door hoping to steal some magic artifacts and realize too late that the vault with all the portable, powerful artifacts was actually in Galaxy City under Gregor's watch. That's when they realize that the secret entrance only opens from the tunnel side and all the corridors are crawling with heroes. "FFFFFFFFFFfffffffffff~!"

Well, considering how often she's losing things, I'm not quite surprised.

She's as responsible for losing things as the recruiter at a security company would be. Gregor watched over the vault at a facility in a different part of the city. Azuria's the one tapped as the MAGI rep at city hall to find people to recover the stuff after it goes missing under Gregor's watch.

Also, going by the Mercedes Sheldon arcs, Darrin Wade arc, Vincent Ross arc, and Mortimar Kal SF, the second part of the SSA arc, the Midnight squad is A LOT worse about losing things, and when they lose things, they are IMPORTANT things. Like Mortimar Kal's daughter, a soul cage, the Devil's Timepiece, the Crown of Glory, countless other unknown artifacts, and WORSE most of the time they don't even KNOW what's missing.

This actually resulted in a character concept who's purpose is explained as: "The truth behind the midnight squad being 'secret' is more because it's easier to hide the mistakes they make, keep making, and will continue to make. Also to make recovery and correction of those mistakes a discreet process hidden from the public eye."

But wasn't Galaxy City Destroyed? so What happened to the vault?

Either glossed over (Ex: they got most of them out), left as a dangling thread, or something an author might pick up for a future arc.

Personally I'm kind of interested in seeing if anything will be done with Galaxy besides making it a rare mission instance.

Blown up/open, and the artifacts stolen; it comes up in Matthew Habashy's new heroside starting arc. You recover an artifact from the vault from the Hellions.

At the Player Summit, Protean mentioned the vault being destoryed as a potential problem

Well, I seem to recall that it got blown to bits and pilfered. In the first new Atlas arc, if I'm remembering correctly, the artifacts the Hellions are using are from that vault.

I think the Hellion fell out of the interdimensional vagoo that Azuria appears to have (based on some entering a mission through her animations). it also explains where she keeps the stuff that keeps getting lost.

Between him and Percy Winkley it seems the Midnight Squad has trouble keeping track of it's own members too.

Well, when my villainous Claws/Fire Brute infiltrated the Squad in the guise of Alistair McKnight, no one found it suspicious that he had a tail, ran about on all fours, and was on fire. I'd say that they aren't the most perceptive bunch.

Or that they have some truly wild parties.

In fairness to Azuria, it appears that she DID make the Hellion stand in the corner.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Yet another reason why what I like to refer to as [Transform into Irishman, Possibly Drunken] is the most enjoyable power in the game.

A more relevant question regarding Azuria is simply: Why?

And the rock she gets tied to is really a sybian
