What to pair with Titan Weapons?
I ended up going with WP/TW, although with these lame things called 'final exams' I likely won't have a ton of time to level up Samurhinoceros over the next week and a half. Still, made it to level 8 and am very impressed by the set so far. Best Tier 1 attack ever: 10' range, 120 degree arc, -20% res, +15% Melee/Smashing def.
Not hard to see where the endurance issues are going to come from. 2 out of the first 3 attacks are cones, and still 2 more aoe's in the set. Damage looks pretty good, and then you've got all the -Res procs you can slot in various powers.
They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

IIRC, it doesn't stack with itself. This was a side effect of finding a way to prevent it from stacking when you hit multiple opponents with it. However, that may not be accurate since I read that way back when it first hit beta and haven't played the set since then.
going to be going dark armor myself. Defensive Sweep seems to stack with itself and even without being slotted for defense, having two stacks of it is 30% melee defense. add in CJ, cloak of darkness, the steadfast unique, and some slotting on defensive sweep and i think i can get myself melee capped pretty readily.
...now to figure out if I can range/AOE cap, or at least make the soft cap with one luck. HMM. |

I'm a masochist, I made a SR/TW tank.
Yep me too, although I don't predict painfulness.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
It does look like a lot are going with /Ela because it combines damage aura and endurance management with resists that combine with Defensive Sweep and Energize, I'm about to use a reserved name on one any minute.

Maybe she finds SR a bit squishy for Tankers since it's a purely defensive set and besides the HP and bit higher resists from tough you won't have much more mitigation than a softcapped Brute/Scrapper.
I only have a SR scrapper, so can you give some information on this comment. What is wrong with this combo? What are pros and cons?

Only thing wrong with the set is that the Taunt aura is terribad with a 1 sec duration, which I believe is a bug because Brute SR has the usual 13.6 duration in Evasion.

im going by what i saw from combat attributes, shows it stacking.

Photoshop doesn't make a good artist.
I ran with a WP Scrapper on Test, and that worked well. Extra end recovery to add to Stamina, and all the mass KD you do gives your Regen plenty of time to work. I didn't even have Tough or Weave going in the 30s and I did fine... and I know from experience that most sets WP gets paired with need Tough or Weave to be resilient in there. Darn exotic damage.
I would only assume Tanks would do as well.
