Mids for iphone
I wouldn't mind being able to muck around with this on my Nook Color
I'd never use a nuke in a superhero universe. You nuke a city, you kill 1.5 million people minus one. The last guy not only gets superpowers from the explosion, but ones that let him survive a nuke...and wow, is he torqued off

Mids' replacement is in the design stage. Don't hold your breath for any release dates, it's not even in soon(tm) stage yet.
Mids' will likely never be ported to any other platform due to is heavy reliance on Windows code in its base (e.g. .NET framework, etc.)

Cue standard rant: .NET is great if you know that your application is only ever going to be used on Windows systems and it provides a great base on which Powershell can operate, however, if you even think you might want your application to work on non-windows platforms than it's a terrible choice of language - this applies equally to any other platform specific languages.
Given the difficulty of finding something compilable that you can run on iOS, Android, Windows, OSX, Linux and anything else you feel like (Window Phone 7? Symbian? BeOS? HP-UX?) that also does what you want, HTML5 is often the best solution these days.

But that's beside the point... The point is that Java is fairly cross-platform as it is, but it's specifically not supported on key mobile devices like iOS and Android (which is ironic, since Android apps are actually Java with a different GUI kit).
It wasn't really until around March-July of this year that HTML5 really took hold, so it happened to come along right when we needed it. The new planner's gonna rock.

In fact, I wrote a totally custom encoder for that format in Sentinel; that doesn't use the Mids code either.
As long as it's ALMOST as good and ALMOST as frequent on updates i'll be content! Not to mention i wont have to split screen my laptop when building toons in game
Not sure we can do almost. The current design spec calls for better. Will that do?
Long story short i would pay real life money for a mids iphone app!
