I'm reserving judgement on whether or not this is the 'special' set we were told to be patient for until I see specific powers' numbers and animations.
Don't get me wrong, I'll take another new set and play it. But don't expect me to swallow the party line that we had to wait for dark control and dark assault because they required extra 'special' effort and time. We'll see if I'm wrong in the next couple months.

Lol man people are just giving you a hard time because you are so sure of autumnal with very little reason for for it. If autumnal comes out and its not a rehash of fire/ice/dual blades that would be great. Maybe instead of rain of fire they will get rain of leaves. Maybe we will get a power that turns an npc costume brown before doing knockdown. Maybe anything. Until the devs say more you shouldn't get too Hung up on it.
If you are right I will give you an e-high five for your ability to read the devs minds, but until then I will call this set idea silly.

Well, in recent coffee talk, Synapse said that if there's going to be Whip Set, it will be more fitting for Dominator than for melee ATs.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

I'd dream big and say kinetic control set. Kinetic secondary, throw some kinetic melee attacks, make some ranged attacks like focus burst, add power siphon and you're good to go. That would be a fun set to play.
