Months is nothing. We know whatever it is will not be in i21.5. I'm not expecting it in i22. I'm not expecting it to be announced until i22 is mostly done being tested if not live. That means, I'm not expecting anything, not even a heads up until something like March 2012.

fact is is that even know this may or may not be a new set, devs will have us waiting for months if not longer till they even decide to announce it, as much as it pains me to say.
whether this is a new set or something else will come i just want doms to get something new shiney and pretty tasty.
Autumnal Control / Assault is perfect coming from devs that live in California. There are autumn days where you can be surfing at the beach in the morning, and skiing in the mountains in the evening. 
Depending on where you live in CA, you may only experience two season: summer and not summer 
I'm still hoping for some form of Dark Illusion (not a direct port of Illusion control) and Dark Assault as well. I wouldn't be remiss if they created Autumnal control and assault where you have a mixture of fire and ice combined into the powers. It's a way of offerince something not quite seen yet and if done, only opens the possibility for other power cominations for the future.
Add me to the line waiting for a Gadgety Control and Weapons Assault set.
I think an ice/fire mix of Autumnal would be awesome. I'm excited and will play whatever is new when it comes around. I have always wanted another dom to compliment my ice/fire/ice. Fire/ice didn't work out very well but an Autumnal/fire sounds like it would rock my socks!
Dark/Void control would be cool provided it gets new animations/effects. I love the dark powers when it comes to ghost widow, warshades, and the judgment nuke. The legacy dark blast/melee just isn't very visually pleasing in my opinion. A rehashed control set using those legacy powers/animations would be very lackluster.

AFTER Street Justice was created for melees who already have a ton of melee sets. AFTER Titan Weapons is tested and released when melees just got SJ. AFTER Staff Melee is developed, tested and released when melees just got SJ and TW.

I'll give them the benefit of doubt that they are unsure of Illusion Control, but Dark Assault can EASILY be put together as a proliferated set with no new animation.
But instead, Dom isn't getting anything new in 21.5 and we may need to wait another 3-4 months until one new Dom set comes out (and by then I am sure Staff set is already done. :P)
This is just poor planning. It has nothing to do with "time restraints".
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

An actual plan is to follow through and make it happen. They didn't plan anything for Dom in 21.5 and that's wrong.
Of course they always have "plans" in the works. I'll be worried if they have no plans in 2012...

Yeah, I'm posting a bit more. I'm working full time, and on a Laptop most of the day, so this keeps me at least a little bit entertained.
I know there's plenty of ways for a well rounded Dominator. But I've not found one that agrees with me. I don't like making things I've seen too often, and Dominators have only a few different variations?
Haven't seen you around Union, Syph. Not that I'm knocking about much nowadays. Game's boring me a bit. Feels more like work at the moment. Think I'll make that one epic toon, then leave it there.

Have we seen spectral decoys before the SSA #3 - They sound like dark illussion control to me, but not usre if alreayd around.

Don't know if anyone's said this yet. But perhaps the whole Autumnal thing is a clue to something far more exciting; Power Combinations.
So you could choose to combine two existing Powersets from the Dominator Secondary, like Autumnal has with Fire and Ice? Perhaps something similar to the way VEAT's get to train with a second Poweset, whilst still being able to choose from the first one?
An interesting prospect. No doubt you'll agree!

interesting thought, but i noticed an Autumnal type trail aura in the shop and its gotta be another clue to the new powerset lol.

never play union no more, too many players that come across "up their ***" type.
i play exalted mostly i can get a team on there easily and theres a few good sg's running nowerdays, good synergy and a good atmosphere, but thats my experience, everytime i use to talk in sals badgehunters i get ignored, dismissed or pretty much shitted on.
bad experience there if im honest, although ive made some really good friends there though.
in terms of dominator help, i can suggest a really good dominator in my experience, plant/[sionic/fire app.

Since the Autumnal path aura is available to all 14 archetypes, I highly doubt that it's tied into Dominator powersets.
Has there ever been an aura/path/costume piece tied to a new powerset outside of the veats?
