Fixed for extra awesome.

Agreed.

Also, GG, badge descriptions do not appear over your head, the badge name itself does.

Sic Semper Tyrannis comes supposedly from Brutus when he assassinated Julius Caesar. It's also the historical rallying cry against abuses of power, including against England during the Revolution.

That's probably why I said the badge title.

I want a choice of several ways to "deal with" Cole, including the option to actually remain a Loyalist and help him with his plans. I know it won't happen since it would be too out of synch with the game's overall plot, but I still want it... just like I still want an option to help Scirocco actually perform his big ritual to wipe out the evil in the Isles instead of having to betray him in his patron arc. Also never gonna happen, but we can dream...

But if Cole ends up being a trial then I do hope it's more of an avatar of the Well / Cosmically Empowered Super-Cole sort of thing since once we reach full Incarnate power we're supposed to be stronger than any of the Incarnates who took the "quick and easy" path like Stateman, Recluse, and Cole. If it takes 24 of us to beat him then either that won't be true or the Cole Trial will take place before we fully unlock all 10 Incarnate slots, and I really don't want the Big Bad that we get all this power to go up against to turn out to be some stupid uber-Shivan or something. Or Nemesis. Or Nemesis possessing the body of an uber-Shivan while mind controlling the Well into mind controlling all the other Incarnates into doing a bunch of stuff that turns out to all be part of some stupid 3,000 step master plan. Seriously... I'd really like the final Tier 10 Incarnate challenge to be a final showdown with Cole.

We're probably gonna finish Cole before we even unlock Vitae/Genesis, let alone Omega.

Personally, I would not be surprised in the slightest if it turns out the Well has been pulling Cole's puppet strings this whole time, and is the real enemy here, not Cole. Seems logical given that they made a point of having the Well do that during the Ramiel arc.

Mechanically, I expect 2 fights with Cole when we do fight him. Similar to Romulus/Nictus Romulus. One fight in which it's just Cole, and he's relatively easy, and a second fight in which the Well decides to inhabit Cole and take us on personally. The second one would be MUCH tougher.

I can see that....

I can also see, depending on how they do it, a fight with Tyrant and then some time during the fight, Praet. Hamidon comes out and wants a piece of us and Tyrant...maybe fighting off both at the same time.

Just wait: Cole will turn out to be a 'good guy' in the end and the whole set up of Praetoria was just a way for the Well to 'train' more Incarnates to take on bigger threats like the Praetorian Hamidon and the Coming Storm that Cole by his lonesome could not take on.

A tweest? Surely ye jest?

The Devs couldn't possibly throw in another unexpected twist into Evil Goatee Paragon could they? That would be just... unheard of!

I still fully expect that both Statesman and Tyrant turn out to be Desdemona in disguise. She's in everyon... I mean in everything these days!

There have been hints about this since 2004, people!

Well, "Desdemona" has "em" in it. "Lord Nemesis" also has "em" in it. So obviously Desdemona is actually a Nemesis plot!
