CoH FPS Justice get togethers

For those that didn't see it, there is a discussion thread for the City of Heroes Freedom Player Summit that is being help on November 19.

I've already PM'd Red Gren to get busy trying to plan something for Friday Night and Saturday lunch for that weekend.

I'd love to see a strong Justice attendance this year, and would love to be able to hang out with my fellow Justice players. That's the main reason I go to these things after all.

Callie, if you are there this year you'd better introduce yourself. You've been part of the Justice family long enough now to just hang back. Listening in and not introducing yourself last year was mitigated slightly due to you being new, but this year you have no excuse.

If you are planning to go, or are thinking of going but haven't decided yet, please say so here in this thread so we can make better plans.

I definitely think I will be coming to the Freedom Player Summit, barring any unusual circumstances. If there are plans to get together earlier than that, I would definitely love to take part as well! I'm looking forward to this, since it looks like a much bigger event than last year (Which I still enjoyed, by the way).

Hope to see plenty of Justice representation there!

I lurked last year too, but with almost a third of my toons on Justice, that's probably kind of silly.

I'd be down for In-n-Out or Creamery, as timing suits. If we opt for the Stanford Creamery, they aren't as well set up for large groups as the downtown Palo Alto one is, so we'll likely want to warn them.

I live in the area, so I hereby volunteer myself as a carpool leader. My truck can hold three passengers, four if they're snuggly, so count me in as a driver. If @Figurehead decides to come along, that may get us four more snuggly passengers (or one fewer spot in my truck )

Were I not recovering physically and economically from recent surgery I would definitely be there. However, the last-minute nature of the event left me with no vacation time or extra money saved. I will definitely be there next year if they can get this put together with more advance notice for me to work around, however.

It's too short a notice for me to make it a go. Shame, too, as I (mostly) enjoyed HeroCon when they had it.

I'm not going to be there because the devs hate the east coast, despite setting Paragon City there.

Sadly, I won't be able to make it. Started a new job within the last couple months, and am already scheduled to take as much time off as I'm comfortable with (2 days next week, in fact), at this stage. I do know that Dark_Respite/@Samuraiko is planning to attend, though she hasn't said yet whether @The Brownies will be going with her.

Yes I will be doing my absolute best to go! However, as I am flying down there rather than driving, I will be sans brownies, sorry.

Once again, I am disappointed by the lack of notice and, additionally, the choice of weekend for this. Hopefully someone there will keep the rest of us up to date on the cool stuff that is shown. Is probably for the best since I shouldn't be spending the money anyway... maybe next year...

Lady Shroud and I will be there, but we don't arrive at the hotel until around midnight Friday night. So we're off the list for any plans then.

Looking forward to seeing those that can make it. I might even break out my Twitter account for the non-attendees, although I suspect there are those that can do a better job of it.

Would have absolutely loved to make it this year. I remember the bacon and waffles place you all spoke of during 09; looked like good fun.

But the short notice and my location completely work against me for this event. I wish they had announced it in say, April. I'm hoping they didn't because the tickets are limited and not because it was poor planning.

I will cross my fingers for 2012, and I hope you all have a fantastic time this year.

You know I'll be at the Justice meal(s).
