I know many of you make this every week, or even every couple of days, but I just joined the Billionaires' club, and wanted to share.

The Republic of Impovered Masses will rewelcome you with open arms soon, if you're anything like me. :P

Always outfitting another character as soon as the current one is done.

I don't think I've ever kept a billion on me long enough for it to matter as a status.

Congratulations. Now, buy all of the things you never had.

Once you make the first billion, it's a slippery slope. You think you'll just flip a couple purples, but your main market will remain the mid-tier items. Soon enough its nothing but purples.

Eventually you won't get out of bed for anything less than less than a Glad proc.

Congrats. And condolences

Ah.. too late for that. Alfa is now a very nicely kitted out but flat broke pauper. I'll need to swap out the tux for tattered cloths.

Well now that you know how easy it is, you'll prob make it back in no time... but it IS easier to earn money when you HAVE lots of money...

So as that guy above said, "Never spend the float"...

Meaning (for the non-savvy) (I think)
Keep an amount for 'investment' (I like a nice round 1B usually), and you can spend any excess, but use the 1B for stuff like bids and salvage/craft costs.

It depends who you are, I've been doing it for ages and I still deal almost exclusively in low-tier items (mostly less than 20 million). What can I say? I'm adverse to risk (and lazy).

Same here. I think of myself as the "Wal-Mart" of the CoH marketplace.

I must be the weirdest marketeer out there, don`t think I`ve ever flipped a single item. Everything has come from Merit rolls (locked at 33), regular play crafting and sales and speed-running STF and the occasional PvP IO drop in Arena.

Lazy and aware I guess is my category...I`m almost to my goal of escaping "High-end poverty" in being able to buy 4 of any item in the game at a whim...(including off-market items).

Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!

Not weird. I think everyone has their own "quirks" about marketing. Remember the rise in popularity of "signature numbers on the market" a while back? How a person deals with the market is just like how they make their costume: it varies from person to person. (or i am crazy, and everyone is a generic market cookie cutter zombie. either or.)
