This is one of the main reasons why I moved to Exalted.

gold sellers wouldnt be able to make a lot of free poeple anyway because free accounts are limited to 25 mil in cap as well as no IOs unless they buy access to them
premium accounts-maybe maybe not, really depends on their paragon reward rank, low paragon rewards means low inf cap
It's weird to think RMTers using the Help channel is a -new- thing.
I would've thought that would've been an obvious place for them to be spamming all along. *shrugs*

i hate the RMTers, but i dont think their as bad in coh as they are in wow imo.

I'm going to start monitoring the Help channel again so that I can click on the names of spammers and select the "Report As Spammer" option. If everyone quickly does this I'm sure they will be dwelt with in a timely fashion.

I got my 1st gold spam email today, haven't had one I can't even remember the last time over a year at least.

Besides, the more we report, the more IPs get logged. Paragon Studios aren't, at this point, new at running a successful MMO.

I started getting RMT emails for the first time in years this past weekend when the Premium accounts got reactivated.
Sad face.
I logged in today to see spam from people selling infamy/influence in help chat. At this point, I would vote that even free accounts be disabled from talking in any public broadcast. Its 5 dollars is all they have to spend if they want chat privileges, I think its worth it rather then seeing a bunch of spam from these gold sellers.
I'd post a screenshot of the spam but I don't want to advertise for them. Reporting them won't work because they can just make a new free account.
