This needs to be fixed.
I took screenshots just now of the blue hand over head and foot from near and far, but the cursor didn't show up whether or not I had the UI enabled.
'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.
I had to use a program called Screen Hunter. I couldn't find any other way to get the cursor to show up in a screen shot.
Now that I've got a couple years under my belt (and a worrisome proclivity for Talshak's trial), it's tempting to hand-wave and mutter about how obvious this should be.
But, yeah, thinking back on things...I remember, two years ago, excited and anxious to be entering my first zone away from Atlas Park...I must have fumbled around and backed up and walked forward and clicked around in front of me for some pathetic five minutes before I thought to click on the swat officer. |
Crotch, shoes or shield. It is time that they changed it. Make it automatic as if you use a tunnel or make people click on the doorway like normal. This clikcing on the officers is not similair to any of the other game mechanics.
The crotch fondling is the only way they can bribe PPD to take the dangerous hazard-zone assignments.

I dunno about others, but after having played 15 MMORPGs I find my standard intuition when I'm stood right in front of something and it doesn't do what I expected is to just start clicking everything in a mile radius.
It's near foolproof for these kind of simple issues and I belief plenty people do it.

She should have paid attention to the bit in the new Tutorial mission where door-clicking was explained.

I think making the click box a little bigger may help these kinds of issues, more chance a wildly waving mouse pointer will turn into an interactive hand then.

I was testing on the officers inside and outside the Steel Canyon entrance to Perez. (I happened to have a mission there.)
