And OMG, I must not try to play that game ever again as. The frustration level is immense. Every mission, you are plagued with totaly garbage information that keeps you searching forever, lack of clickable zones that make you click anything in hopes to make things go and fights that lasts forever. Gave up the game in disgust

Well done. I sometimes wonder if I should playn that game one day. it is a classic, though probably I just saw the best part.

In the end, I really doubt they care.
The only vote that counts is that of the shareholders and shareholders only want one thing: Make more money now now now.

They dont care about players, they don't care about employees or the environment or even if people get killed or what so long as they make a profit.

I have done it before when I created a US account but without those handy vet rewards and influence when I needed it? Yes I would play but I would miss those. That and some characters that I am really fond of.

Well I already pay double sincve I owe two accounts and only use 1 of them. To be honest that is all I am able to pay.

I enjoyed and still do (was leveling up another toon to see how the playing a loyalist acting like he is a traitor would work out) rnjoy Praetoria. Great stories and a breathtaking environment over there.

Someone wrote that ignoring a petition is one thing but ignoring a personal letter? That is less easy then putting a filter on your inbox.

So, perhaps we should do more and write personal letters to the CEO's of NCSoft. Sounds like good advice to me.

I more and more get the feeling that it is dirty board member politics. From wanting to cut the non Grindy Foreign black sheep out of their business model to oh look we need to make the shareholders happy and show that we can make even more profit when we show them we cut the fat (read employees) of. Never mind that they made money of this game, keeping shareholders happy is more important.

Who doesnt hate marketing? It is a dirty job but somebody has to do it though and from the looks of it, you did a better job then I knew about. Of course your mistake was to never visit Europe game conventions (just saying that because I would have liked a meet and greet)

Thanks for helping create the game that I just could not leave alone. Every time I got back to CoH and I kept my account running even if I was doing something else for a long time. This game gave me what I needed.

Great stories, the ability to solo, to team, to chat as I liked to. I loved the fact that this was not a grinding game and that I as a casual and inept player could participate almost as well as the real pro's.

It has been a great almost 8 years for me and I will remember this game fondly for the rest of my live.

You made one for me, Grinning Spade. I lost it since I could not use it long for my forum. Apperantly the name and the cute image was offensive to somebody who made a complaint about it.

A dev contacted me and I changed my Avatar and since then a computer due to a wicked virus and lost all my data including the picture. So yes, would love to regain him

I checked out secret world, but I understand that it is basically a first person shooter as well as an mmorpg. If that is correct then this game would unfortunately not be for me.

Aeon, I loved the stories you wrote for MA and I recall writing and playing through yours and so many other great ones. Even when I had to come to the conclusion that my own writing skills were subpar.

I appreciate what you did for the MA community when you became a developer even if most players decided it was just a handy leveling and inf tool you tried to help us write great arcs and play them.

I am sure that I have enjoyed your ingame arcs as well. I know I love the DA ones!

I hope that a man with your talents will find employement elsewhere soon.

No, I won't boycot NC Soft. I have no intention of ever playing one of their games again, but that is my personal peeve and I don't think that pet peeves are a ground for a player wide boycot.
