Germinator Terminator

On the first day of the Freedom Headstart, I was in a league that took down the Seed of Hamidon. However, the badge didn't award to anybody on the league.

Is this a bug, or is there some kind of trick that we're missing that we need to do in order to get the badge?

I was basically in the same situation but I didn't join the team at the very beginning of the fight. I kind of assumed I wasn't there long enough but I guess it might be bugged too. I'm sure someone will chime in here one way or the other.

I had this issue as well... it could be an issue with how long the Seed floats around and there MAY be too many people pinging at it for the amount of damage the League does to constitute a Badge.

However, I doubt this is the case, despite what Support said when I filed a petition. I think it is a bug... The more of us that file /petitions and /bug the more likely the awarding of the Badge is likely to get corrected. To me there are few situations where you should qualify for a Merit Reward and NOT a Badge.

First time I joined a Seed team the badge dinged. Had to wait for a second seed to finish the badge for all it's seedlings.

/bug it justin case, but you may also have not met the damage criteria.

Was in on a 2-team league that defeated it at 9:10 pm EDT on Infinity (roughly 30 minutes after servers went back up). Most of the people got the badge; myself and another did not. Didn't seem to matter when people joined up; a person who came in after me got the badge.

I petitioned it, and got some odd responses from the first support. That GM said it was in my lists, but I couldn't find it, nor did Hero Stats record me receiving it. That GM escalated the issue to a senior support. It was from the senior support that I got the standard "didn't complete all tasks" dialogue.

I tried to explain to him that others on my team got it, but I was essentially stonewalled. I guess that I will give it another go this weekend.

I've done this zone event 3 times on my main badger and have yet to receive the badge while others in the league have /em sadface

It seems to be a bug.

The bug is if you are on a team (or league) and the leader of that team/league is adding and swapping the teams/league around then no one will get the badge.

If you are on a team of 8 and no one is swapped around and/or added to a league then you'll get the badge.

The first night i21 went live EI got into a league and we took down the SoH; 90% didn't get the badge but there was a team of 8 that was already assembled before we started to fight the SoH and they DID get the badge (or so they said ).

The next time, I was in a team of 8 fully formed and waited for the SoH to spawn. It spawned and we took him down with help from another team of 8 (did NOT join the teams into 1 league); all 16 people got the badge.

I /bug'ed it in the game...so...I know that at least a GM is aware of it

So for now the answer seems to be to not form a league for it, stick to individual teams?

Just my 2 cents, if you do enough damage to get the temp and reward, you should get the badge as well. First time, I got the temp and reward..no badge..second time, got reward merits and badge..league had 20 or so people in it, some reported not getting the badge as well...I do believe this is bugged (ala when you do a closed league trial and start, everyone gets scrambled, you do an open league trial and start, and no scramble...its weird)

So, it has been determined by the devs to be a problem.

The league re-organizing theory would explain why I got the temp power / merits twice, and no badge yet.

I was a latecomer on my first attempt, but actually led the other attempt where we were about a dozen players, perhaps a little less. People were moved from team one to team 2 to balance out, others lost connection and came back on Team 3 and were moved.

I knew it wasn't it just me!! It took me 4 attempts finally with an 8 man team I finally got it.

I got Germinator Terminator on two toons today; both times, I ran it as just one team, no league. Just an FYI in case people are still having issues with it...

We defeated Seed of Hamidon twice in one day, once as a league, once as a single team. Didn't get badge either time. Petitioned for the badge and the response was that the system of who receives the badge is working as intended. So there must be another factor other than doing 100% damage when it comes to getting the badge.
