Also, you can use the /getglobalname, namegoeshere feature find what the global is of the account that has your name already so instead of posting on forums they may not read you can contact them directly ingame.
And yes, if they are willing to trade but you don't have anything to trade you may offer my list to see if they see anything they like as a trade.

Or they could just log in and make their character and get the name they wanted without having to go through all that.
Intentionally or not, it appears as if you and your wife used up all the slots on multiple accounts for the sole purpose of camping names you have no desire to actually use.

Thankfully, I was able remake Maverick with no issues. I also joined a fun Sewer Trial right away... Quite an active community on Exalted (at least low-level), I may hang around more often.
