Freedom PvP League 2011 - Draft Thread and basic team guidelines

Isn't @Terror. Suffer? Perhaps team Drift Wood and Artic Keeper's team should consider merging. It's better to have a more solid team than a partial teams with lack of leadership.

Yes that is Suffer. He can't make a post on the forums, so asked Artic to do it. I am not sure if he has had a chance to talk to his team/captain yet, but possibly that is something to consider. Granted, between the two teams, there are more players remaining than can fit onto a core roster.

Keeper/Suffer should combine.

Mebs/PF/Bitter/Psyrene should all collectively co-captain a team - or Hot and Treyy.

There are more than enough players in the draft to make some workable teams.

It has been a long time since I've arena'd but I'll give it a shot It's nice to see leagues forming again under something organized.

I have a nice handful of inf and uber IO's already. Depending on which is desired I will have a build created and reviewed by teammates before IOing more.

What do you consider your primary/optimal role in a team setting?
Disruption, debuff, damage, and control. It would be unfortunate for those without mag 45 KB protection.

I work 50 hours a week so iffy.. but for a good arena-able toon in the long run yes.

I have been a pvp zone rat since CoV came out. I played in arena matches with The Dark Revolution for a good bit. I played around with people from UJL and other teams at the time as well. Then everyone i13 rage quit.

So we are looking at a little over 40 free agents, even after removing the people who pulled out or joined core rosters. There is a list of free agents on a thread on the guild portal site, please look it over if you are interested in forming a team out of the free agents.

There are plenty of solid players in the pool who could make a decent team with some leadership.

Ice/Storm in storm team. Thermal in villains pre-IO's. Psi Permadom in villains post IO's. Sonic/Sonic in Dual Sonic. Rad in multiple rad. It really depends on the team comp.

Joined LotD played villains with them. We changed to heroes because villains were ****. We invented the offensive storm team and lost to Lion's Den because they exploited the **** out of vengeance stacking. Left the game with LotD.

Came back ages later, joined JAL when they were #1 or w/e and played sonic and blaster for them. Played some matches then everyone quit the game I think.
