No, I should have won, especially with the numbers Miles Austin put up...and then promptly got injured.

Cadillac just flopped for me this week...and Jamal went down...so yeah, overall, kinda a crappy week.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. According to my "experts" (friends), I did expect you to win that matchup, thus why your match is one of the upsets. Unfortunately, people get hurt, and Clockwork gets lucky.

As far as the influence bets go, I'm still accepting them. If the email or PM is dated by midnight tonight (and I'll even give you 'till Pacific time), I'll accept it.

Did not expect either of these two.

This just isn't your year, Posi.

I was really rooting for Crosscheck this week, though, because Giant Monster has a good deal of influence on him.

Is it the lowest score or highest score that wins in fantasy football?

Has very little to do with the score. It's all about who's team beats which other teams the weeks that they play each other.

This is fantastic news for me. Positron has the most influence bet on him. I didn't think people would put that much faith in Vick. Posi, I really hate to profit off of your poor fortune, but you are making me a mint.

Friend of the Studio has the second highest amount of bets, and even though he won this week, he's still 1 and 3, so I'm not terribly worried about losing that bet.

The guy that's worrying me is Giant Monster, with just over a billion influence on him. He just lost his first match which puts him 3 and 1 right now and tied for best in his division. If one of you gents would kindly knock him out of contention for a playoff spot, that'd be grand. Otherwise I'm going to have to pay out more than I took in for this bloody event. Oh well, that's the risk I took.

Ugh, I'm getting tired of fantasy football...it seems like every week the QB I have either gets injured or decides to throw 2 INTs and no TDs while the opposing team always seems to have the QB that throws for 4 TDs and runs it in for 2 more TDs....or has a WR/RB that does crazy good things...

grr...

I won't deny that, but again... You're helping me make a mint!

While I am not all that familiar with how Fantasy Football works, please remember who's Posi's secondary QB and Special Team is: Da Bears Jay Cutler and the Bears Special Teams. Considering the pasting Cutler had against New Orleans in week 2... Also the Bears are 2-2 and facing Detroit next Monday.

Now I'm a semi-Bears fan, but even I kinda figured Posi was in for a long haul just from past experience.

Thank you for the time...

In one of the random leagues I'm in, some guy during the Live draft selected Jay Cutler in the first round.....yeah....fanboy indeed heh...

Giant Monster definitely had a rough week, with Andre Johnson going down, Bradford's Rams not doing much, Freeman not looking as sharp as usual and just a general bleh week overall.

However, I'm thrilled it happened this week, when GM matched up against Skippy. If my horse is going to lose a race, then it doesn't matter if he loses by a little or a lot. Take the low points this week, hope Andre Johnson is back to speed next week and that Bradford, McCoy and the Steelers defense get it in gear, so the points come back up in time for a closer match-up.

I know injuries are always the spanner in the works of fantasy football teams, but the lockout seems to have really screwed lots of teams over, because the lack of proper prep has most likely been a factor in some of this season's many injuries (Peyton's cervical spine and Vick's delicate glass-like skeleton excepted).

*not that anyone cares* but I won 2 out of the 3 leagues I'm a part of this week.

Philip Rivers is really bugging me...he put great numbers last year but so far...pretty blah numbers...come on man!

Edit: Oh and Vick is my 'backup' QB in one or two of my leagues....yeah...not doing much better there heh...I think his saving grace is getting some big passing and rushing yards/numbers...

I went to school with that guy. He bugged me, too.

Okay, so I didn't know him personally... but we certainly didn't bring home any championships during his time at NC State. (Not that we're bringing any home now.)

One of my friends went to NC State

Sorry that's my only thought/connection

Ugh....tough week for me...losing (will lose since all players are done for both teams) in 2 of my leagues; and might lose the other one depending on how things go tom. night (he only has the Jets def to play but...that might be all he needs).

Of course Josh Freeman had to have a 'break out' game with multiple touchdowns and Ben couldn't put in more than 1 TD for me bah....

:P

So, what do the standing look like as far as win/loss records go?

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
