Remember Ecto-Cooler, the tasty green drink was so awesome it outlasted the series that spawned it.(Real Ghostbusters)
We got the recipe, I thought I share it we my CoH friends. My friend Dan got it down to near perfect. Everyone we had try it say it just how we remembered.

I remember calling Minute Maid a few years back to ask about Ecto-Cooler, which, at the time, had been renamed...then renamed again...then finally discontinued. Sad days. Orange Lavaburst is still around, but it's just not the same.

Not bright green, not Ecto-Cooler.

That is a very...unappetizing...color. But I do love Ecto-Cooler, along with the Crystal Pepsi (curse you for reminding me! ). There has to be a way to get it to that nice, bright, fluorescent green color...

Also, there's Ghostbusters Ectoplasm Energy Drinks out there. I've got a can of it, but haven't tasted it to find out what it's like.

Color is adjustable, I been told adding blue food coloring instead of green may yield better results, however, it is the taste we were more interested in.

Bunnies can't spell "relevant." But more importantly, I'm making me some friggin' Ecto Cooler to drink while I'm moving next weekend.

Showing my age, but before it was Ecto Cooler (waaay before, like in the mid-70's), it was simply Citrus Cooler. And one of my favorites . Hmmm, need that smiley in Ecto green.

Ah so it was you in the Brad tries video.

I saw the patch and went, "where on earth do I know that modified Ghostbusters patch from..."

And Brad is somewhat of a conniseur of that kind of beverage so if it takes like Ecto-cooler then it will damn well taste like Ecto-cooler.

Did you try it without the tangerine drink packets? I ask because that stuff is pretty hard to find and/or fairly expensive when found. Maybe add a bit more regular tangerine juice in exchange.

Oh, and I managed to find a group of 4 neon food colors at Wal-mart the other night. Included was neon green, so that might take the place of that previously linked gel coloring thingie.
