Same here - I used to be all about Marvel, but now I haven't touched a Marvel title since they canceled Moon Knight. Meanwhile, I'm picking up 3-4 DC titles a month plus some DC trades every once in a while.

Teen Titans #100 came out this week and it's absolute garbage.

SPOILERs

They out right kill the Superboy clones and then throw Prime onto the source wall and then say it's like hell for prime.... wtf. That is completely our of character and instead of a meh like other titles were this was out right offensive to the characters and the previous creators. Oh, and the tower should have been destroyed

a lot of these end issues have been pieces of crap. The Titans one was probably the capper of the bunch. A mini i should have avoided was the search for Swamp Thing series, that thing was gawd awful. Its like the guy who wrote it didnt even read Brightest Day. I was having Battle for the Cowl flashbacks with how wretched it was. JSA was another trainwreck. ugh. Bad enough im not looking forward to this reboot, but to close out the old DCU with a whimper, frak.

Yeah. I get that most of the major creative teams have all been working on the new stuff for the big reboot. But to finish off so many series the way they did, in just embarrassing fashion, was just an insult to the DCU. In a lot of ways, we'd have all been better served if they just stopped printing the books after they made the DCnU announcement.

Slight derail but there's been at least some Blackest Night talk so far...

Am I the only one who likes the multiple Lantern corps now? Even when I was younger I always assumed there were other Corps, why else would the Green Lanterns have to put "Green" in there at all? If they were the one and only Corps and there could be no other they would simply be the "Lanterns".

Sure not all of Blackest Night was great but I've always wanted there to be a Blue Lantern and now they just need to work on making Kyle a Blue Lantern and all will be well.

I don't mind that there's other Lantern corps. It only makes sense since the Greens are based off of willpower, it stands to reason that other emotions/character traits would be able to power stuff. Fear, Lust/Love, Greed, Rage, Compassion, Presence of All and Absence of All, all are very powerful emotions in their own right.

The name fails, though. If there's a version of the Green Lantern Corps in the 440-490nm range, they clearly need to be the Blue Beacon Brigade.

Also: They're called Green Lanterns because they're Silver Age retreads of what was a single unique character, who got his name from the fact that his power came from, well, a green lantern. Simple, really.

I like the idea of multiple organizations each trying to bend the universe to their own idealized visions, and thus coming into conflict.

And I have no problem with them all using power rings.

But I absolutely hate the multiple mood ring corps.

So far the only the only final issue I have acquired is Secret Six,and it was disappointing to say the least.

I really was enjoying that comic. And I see no reason to believe that the Suicide Squad will be a worthy substitute.

Emerald Warriors had a good issue, Guy Gardner and Batman team up to solve a murder on a space station. I don't know if one shots can get any cooler than that.

And for some reason, I got Action Comics 904 which had the end of some Doomsday story in it, but it was a pretty good Superman story, in my opinion, considering I don't read Superman that often.
