It takes a long time to do it and make a profit doing so - because the 45s and 50s take a while to sell at a profit, and you only have so many market spaces.

I basically just deleted or gave away everything since I'm too lazy to list something if it doesn't return 30-50 million a sale minimum. Even then it's kinda "meh". That's why I'm hoping we get new stuff we can sell, there's always the initial greed rush for stuff like the new inspirations and whatnot.

I am mainly worried about the level of spam we will be getting especially since they have said absolutely nothing about what they are going to do to prevent it. Right now its not really worth their time to do it due to you only being limited on trials to lvl 14 or so but once trials can go to 50 that means they will be spamming every where more hardcore than before.
Spam can be solved on two levels:

1)Game stops it for you, chat disables for two minutes.
2)You can ignore the person or spamignore them.

F2P looks awesome so far. I'm probably going to drop $20-$50 on the first day to unlock new powersets and reward tiers, then I'll see. I begged Zwillinger for purples and PvP IOs for real money but he basically nixed it.
Which kinda sucks as people are buying this stuff off RMTers (along with Inf) so it's odd that Paragon wouldn't just want to undercut them, though I do see the balance issues/Market issues.

Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.

I think it's more a case of them wanting to limit the appearance of 'buying' power. With the 'big' power items still being obtained through game means.

However, it's possible to buy some gear to help 'jump start' your character, especially in the lower levels.

Easier said than done. I have seen in games like Aion where chat was completely taken over due to spammers. While I dont use local that much I can see it being taken over to the point where legit users of that chat channel would not be able to use it at all.

You don't need the 45-50 badges for Field Crafter.

I also never said it was fast. As with most anything on the market, "patience" and "profit" are at the same end of the spectrum.

You don't have to make inf on every IO- just overall. I generally set my price around the "memorized breakeven" in most cases. But given that you can often sell level 40 EndMods for 500K-1M [memorized breakeven something like 70K] and you need to craft considerable numbers of extra IO's... it's hard NOT to make inf.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.

In regard to unlocking reward tiers, it would be more cost-effective from a real-money standpoint to buy these game-time cards instead. Each one is two months' worth, which unlocks two months of reward tokens, and it's only $18.50. (How can they sell them so cheap?)

However...this option doesn't also net you a bunch of Paragon Points to spend on top of the bonus Tokens, so I'm with Neuronia on this one.

I'll probably do a bit of both. Do a long term game time purchase to get a bunch of rewards tokens (and buy game time I'll probably end up buying anyway) and then buy some points for store purchases and more reward tokens.

It nets you the same 400 per month that paying $15 a month does, along with the extra time of enjoying all the paid benefits; it just does so more cheaply.

Yes...and 400 is not "a bunch" (nor do you get them all at once, since the monthly stipend is only doled out monthly).

It says US only on those time cards, does that mean US servers only or can us non US citizens not receive those?
