Thanks for sharing this Banshee. It's so terrifying as a parent. Since it's so rare (100 new cases a year in the US) it's really great to hear from someone that has recovered from it.

I wanted to give you guys an update, especially since it's a good one...it looks like the transplant has taken and @Kinetic Jaunt is making blood cells on his own again. If things stay on course over the weekend he will be able to return home next week sometime! He still has another 2-3 months of being stuck indoors (He has been in the hospital since June 13th) while he recovers, but things are looking up and hopefully you will be seeing us both back in game again.
I also would really like to thank all the people who have written me or sent me tells. I truly appreciate the support.
