Bought Steampunk Pack...and No Steam or Punk

So I bought not one but two packs for our accounts. I go to log in using the NCSoft Launcher and it gives me a message about some folder and how this folder will probably make the game launch with problems would you like to delete it Yes or No? I log in and no Steampunk costumes.

I have heard a few other people not have the packshow up, not sure if they had this folder issue. Thought I would post this in case others start seeing it.

In addition to posting here, I sent in the Support help request from the NCSoft account site.

Did you get the email about the codes being applied to account?

It took about 45 mins before I got that email, before it, no steam or punk... after it, lots of steam, and suitable amounts of punk.

As your account details aren't stored on your computer and the steampunk items are on everyones computer regardless of whether they have paid for the pack or not I doubt removing a folder will cause it to not show up.

I would check your account page and see if the codes have been applied (you can't tell what they are for, but they have a date on them so see if there is a code from yesterday) and raise a ticket if not, or if the bits still aren't showing up.

I keep getting that warning too. However, I bought the steampunk pack, and it applied properly yesterday morning. I have another thread asking about this warning, but so far no responses.

This appears to be the situation. Never had this issue before. Bought a pack logged on and it was always right there available to me. Good to know.

I bought ours (4 copies from the NCSoft store) over 4 hours ago and none of them have shown up, on any of the accounts. We did receive emails stating that the codes have been applied to our accounts. But no steam - unless you count the steam coming out of my honey's ears.... and we feel we have been punked by "costumer service" when they wrote us back (we complained online and by account email) stating that it could be as many as a few days before we even hear back from them, that isn't even them fixing the problem that's just them getting back to us. We have bought all the previous packs, and never had this problem before....

The same thing has happened to me. Still waiting for the pack to appear more than a few hours after purchase. I was wondering if eventually the costume pack appeared for people or if its still lost in the abyss?

Most likely, Daemodand's Steampunk codes simply got fully-registered on the servers in the time it took him to run the consistency check.

I wonder if there is a way the client could be at fault.

What if your client doesn't recognize the parts so it doesn't show them, getting caught by some feature that double check imported characters or memory editing of scales (which used to be hilarious when you found them).

To that end if you do have 2 computers and one is running account with steam punk log in, if it is the most obvious issue of server data then you will still not have them. If you do have them then try again on the original system and if it doesn't show the options do the consistency check.

Or use the system you believe is at fault to log into the account that that has them shown and see if they are still showing...and if they are not on new characters take a steampunked one to tailor just so you can tell us what happened then...just cause I want to know.

This issue is NOT fixed. I purchased mine and received e-mail confirmation that it was applied about 30 hours ago. I still can't access the costume options in game.

Support has of course been contacted and maybe if I'm really lucky they'll answer me by Tuesday or so.
