"Growing up the tree." I know they will be adding more power paths besides the current 4 but that implied they will be adding something like Vary Rare+ slots. I know that's not what they probably intended but I do like the idea.

Glad to hear it is being considered. Still.
Same here.

However, I can't help but fear the words "accessible" will end up meaning that "an easy option for solo players to group to do Incarnate systems" and the word "alternative" will equate to extremely long and time consuming path that will require some type of farming activity.

And offcourse the words "future issue" could mean anything from next issue to in ten issues time?

I'm not been negative just a realist maybe

I understand the biggest issue that have with introducing an alternative solo path is that they are concern that those players that do group will choose it over grouping with other. But for I20 they went way too far to avoid this, I hope they are more realistic in the future.

I think the growing up the tree comment refers to unlocking the remaining 5 slots.

Could be. I like my idea better.

They already said on the UStream chat that the Omega slot isn't the end of the Incarnate system, - there's stuff above and beyond it, so the tree is going to keep on growing

First, congrats on seven years of CoH. I can honestly say I've been around for pretty much all of it.

Now that the back-patting is out of the way, can we have some Developer response to the 'Incarnate Awards' thread that's been stewing for several days now without any kind of developer input? Are you guys just reading the thread and not responding? Are you taking notes? What's going on?

From my own perspective, the lag's getting worse, the rewards haven't changed/improved, and more and more people are getting frustrated. Come on, guys, we're owed some kind of updated official response to that thread by now.

Regards,

This! I'd love to see some stuff in the Shadow Shard. It's one of my favorite collection of zones, and right now they're not very populated. There's so much Rularuu stuff that's hinted at, but not expanded. The Factory Cubes, the Garden of Memories, and the Ravager himself! Let's let some fully realized Incarnates challenge a tainted god!

Many of us are here because this game has consistently delivered on this aspect. So, good! Please never abandon that! Best to keep accentuating it!

I'm looking forward to all the future fun CoH will be delivering!!

Happy Anniversary all around!

Covered nearly everything I wanted, with the exception of mentions of upcoming boosters. We can assume Bagpacks are coming, and maybe Steam Punk. But anything beyond that?

I'm going to guess the new zone will be sorta like a battle ground portal type area. Designed for people to organize the incarnate trials without tripping over other non-incarnate players.

The zone event? The Praetorian Invasion we'll be playing next month.

Yes. I like this idea and would like to one up it. How about we have a smash 'em up fight with an ACTUAL supers feel?! Can we get THAT instead of making us feel like we're playing D&D or something like that?! Can we?! HUH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

That means, realistically, that this stuff isn't in the development cycle yet. That means it's well over a year out and away, if not more, as past info has shown us how long the development cycle is and can be (and we know there are multiple trials already in the pipe).

This causes me a staggering reality check in my Wait and See mentality.
I hope it is done in far less than a year, but at least the dev team seems aware of it now

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Tisk. They need to record that and place it somewhere. I can never mate it to the showtime.

Considering that would require altering most of not all related NPC groups in all the missions that is hardly the easiest way to do anything. The easiest way would be to revamp one of the old unused zones like boomtown and plop a large scale interdimensional breach right down the middle of it. Have Praetorian whatsits poring out of it. Maybe set up something like the mother ship raid for it.

They did - the official dev Q&A chats are always recorded.

All of the Lv50 groups already scale up to Lv54. There are no enemy groups that stop at Lv50. Just set up a "Incarnate mode" that automatically make the Lv50 TFs +4x8. Make it so that when you set a TF to "Incarnate mode" they can drop Incarnate Threads. Boom, you just added six more ways to get Incarnate Threads.

What might require some programming time is if they wanted to add a way for players to get the incarnate components. But that's another discussion.

Yeah, but kind of a disappointing, short-changed way to do it.

Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

They're focusing on Trials to bulk out the current Incarnate content - and it seems like they're planning to release Trials as they finish them, rather than only putting them in Issues.

Not to be an anniversary party pooper but I have friends unsubing pretty fast over this and Justice once again is loosing some fine players, from what I hear other servers are loosing people as well.

And there has been no response from a developer in almost 2 weeks and not even anything from OCR indicating that they care or are even reading the feedback in the past 9 days.

I am sure there are many that would rather current issues with incarnate content are addressed before we get anything new. It really should have been a priority but their silence speaks volumes to it not being so.

The last time you promised this, we got 88-shard-cost conversion recipes. Forgive me if I withhold judgement on your ability to understand and address the concerns of small teams and soloers until I actually see a viable alternative.

Indeed, I agree

I'll be honest, the Incarnate system is a dead duck to me at the moment. If the developers can come up with something more reasonable than the glacial rate of shard conversion, It may get me interested again.
