And "dejected" because I doubt I can ever get to that level of quality. But I can dream....

Porcelain Mask is good. Again seems it can't decide wether to be major or minor in key, although the strange wavering is pretty cool and suitable for carnies. I think it needs either setting to one key or a more pronounced waver from one to the other.
The strings are also a tad understated.

I really like the Carnie WIP in so far

I think isome Danny Elfman-esque choir (i.e. Souls?) and some deeper strings would help flesh it out some. It's all very soft now and I think it needs to hit a point where the energy/violence/intensity hits in.

Alrighty, as I'm having a bit of a creative block with regard to the 5th Column and Shadow Shard tracks, I decided to work on something for Faathim (as suggested by Bright). This one is a warm, airy, melodic and mellow peice, with a hint of melancholy given Faathim's situation. So head to the OP and check out The Kind One.

Other than the piano seeming to take a moment to find its feet, and a few bits and the beginning and end where the vocals seemed to glitch a little...

I think that one could safely go to Final Version as is without complaint. Really nice.

Very cool stuff. Ominous Voice is very talented but not just musically. He has a gift for pulling out the essence of a person, place, or thing and turning that essence into sound.

My favorite is the Porcelain Mask -- creepy, ominous, and child-like. It's like going to a carnival with Stephen King.

Seeing as Galaxy City is set to be ravaged by Shivan meteorites, I've put together this little piece as an accompaniment to Galaxy's Last Stand.

Try to imagine BABs, Sister Psyche, Shadowstar, Coyote and Flower Knight watching horror as the FC building and Galaxy Girl's statue are wrecked by falling meteors, and then desperately battling the invaders in a vain attempt to stop Galaxy from falling apart around them.

This one starts out horrific and loud, denoting the devastation, then segues into a quiet section for the horror at the castrophic loss of life, I then tapped the melody from Jason Graves' Going Rogue theme for the heroes emotionally charged battle.

It is still a WIP at the moment, There are parts that need changing and expanding. At the moment its just give flavour of what I'm gunning for.

I love it!

The only thing is towards the end (2:00 and on,) I feel some more "brass" is needed, as a sort of heralding for the heroes and their fight.

The strings and choir are beautiful!

I do have a quick turnaround don't I. I've updated Galaxy's Last Stand to WIP 02. It's undergone an extensive reworking, including altering time signatures, keys and melodies. Personally I think it sounds a lot more polished.

New track today. Arrival at Atlas Park. This one is sort of a follow up to the Atlas Park fanfare. To be honest I wasn't to happy with that one as it sound a bit too Superman-ish.
So, I took the original Atlas music and did an extended version, complete with better sounding instruments.

Try to imagine, if you will, arriving in Atlas, fresh from Outbreak to the sight of City Hall, the Atlas statue and dozens of heroes buzzing about the place. I'm trying to capture that new player feeling and sense of wonder at the adventure you're about to embark on.

EDIT: Ok, I've just heard what appears to be new Atlas Park music in the Coffee Talk Ustream. Consider my mind blown! The similarities between that and my new one are freakin' eerie.
