Hardest Hitting Attack?

Just curious here, but which attack does the most damage in one hit? Without using inspirations or external buffs. And I mean all at once, I wouldn't include something like Blizzard. Although I would count the 2 parts of damage from Total Focus.

Is it 2x rage, full fury, fiery embrace KoB from an SS/Fire brute?
A Critical Midnight Grasp from a fully saturated Soul drain and fiery embrace?
Total focus from Build up/Aim blaster?
Energy transfer from a brute?
Warshade double mire nova?
Or blaster's nova?

And then i wanna see someone hit a level 1 underling with it :P

Ion Core Final Judgment. On a SS/SD brute with triple rage and saturated AAO. Hit a mob that isn't your target first.

Unless I was mistaken, I thought that the Judgement powers didn't benefit from Damage buffs (or +Recharge)?

ion judgement is currently bugged where the "jumps" are affected by dmg buffs

judgement and lore are enhanced only through alpha, destiny is not affected by anything, and all incarnate powers cannot have their rech enhanced even with spiritual alpha

The biggest number you could find basically. ST or AoE.

Aside from bugs that will get fixed soon >>

Ion seems to be the only one. I was able to get someone's damage up to around 2.2k with it, once I capped their damage out with Fulcrum Shift.

Well, I know you ruled out Blizzard.. but...

An Ice/Kin Corruptor, damage capped via Fulcrum Shift + Blizzard (which also Scourges) probably puts out the biggest damage in the game, even only on a single target.. Granted its not burst.

Prior to the "Pet and pseudopet powers don't benefit from inherited +recharge" nerf, a damage and recharge capped lightning storm (30 strikes of 160.16 damage = 4804.8 damage, spread over 1 minute from a single activation) would probably take the cake for total damage per single activation - and you could have 3 of them out at a time (assuming capped recharge, summoning a new storm every time the power recharges).

...Although if you get into pet assumptions and unlimited time, a given non-expiring pet would eventually achieve more damage than that

Did I miss something, or were Stalkers completely forgotten about.

Coming from someone with a 50 stalker, I would say that stalkers were not forgotten in this discussion. AS becomes pretty negligible in end game play.

Currently on Virtue:
Jinrazuo - Crab Spider

RWZ All-Pylon Solo Run

Probably just another bug that got through, but Power Boost is very much affecting my Rebirth Destiny's initial heal.

Favorite Hero: Computer (Empathy/Energy Blast Defender)

Favorite Villain: Gimp Computer (Fire Control/Psionic Assault Dominator)

See this thread. General conclusions:

Single most damaging attack in the game: the exploding building in Steel Canyon hitting the Kronos Titan.
Single most damaging player attack: a Corruptor's Blizzard that hits and Scourges on every damage tick.
Single biggest orange number: the "critical strike" portion of a Stalker's Assassin's Strike.

you would be correct

i dug up the original post made by black scorpion in the beta forums where he details what affects the incarnate powers

Here's how the rules break down currently:
  • None of the Incarnate powers are affected by recharge reductions of any type currently available in game - including the Spiritual Alphas.
  • Judgement and Lore are affected by non-recharge "global enhancements" - this currently only includes Alpha slot and Interface slot powers. Regular buffs should not apply.
  • Nothing affects Destiny or Interface. For Interface the tech just isn't equipped to handle that aspect of it. For Destiny the base effects are so strong that if we allowed enhancements to apply we'd probably have to tone down the base effect for balance. And we'd prefer to leave it strong by default.

Your bud in the Incarnate-powered armor,
Black Scorpion
hopefully this should clear up any confusion about the slots
