I never understood why, when choosing a letter to throw out from colour, you opted for the "u". The second syllable always sounded more like "lur" than "lor" to me.

I'll put this here since it keeps getting downed out in the UStream chat (usually by the people doing the 4 lines of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

UStream is /NOT/ working for some people. They keep saying it. I'm one of them. It worked fine for the first 3 minutes I was connected to the site. Then around the time Aeon supposedly showed up, it died and became the 'loading spiral of death'. I restarted my browser after 5 min, and video/sound didn't come back. I tried a different browser, and nada. Multiple different browsers, and nada. Restarted my computer and /NADA/. Was told by one of the 'Red Names' that it'd eventually load. 30 minutes of 'Load Spiral' later and...... You guessed it, Nada! And yes, I restarted my modem, and several other things as well, and nothing helped.

Now if it was just me, I wouldn't be saying this. But the fact that multiple people kept saying they were having this problem in the UStream chat, and they were being told to do this even /after/ they'd done all of this and that it'd 'eventually work' and wasn't is very, VERY frustrating, especially since it looks like you're trying to use UStream as a 'public relations tool'.

To be blunt and honest, if it's something that flat out won't work for a chunk of people, especially if you're telling them to do things that they've said they already tried, or that 'it'll work eventually' and it flat out /won't work/, all you're doing is creating /bad/ public relations.

Oh they responded at times. By telling people to do stuff they just said they'd done, or it'd 'work eventually'.

And on top of that, it was just the CoH Live feed that was doing this. I went to half a dozen other UStream feeds, almost all which were live, and they worked fine, even with multiple running in different tabs at the same time, which in turn made the non-working CoH feed even more frustrating.

I'm pretty sure the forum's Remember Me checkbox isn't actually connected to anything much like an intersection crosswalk's Push to Change Light button.

I didn't see any rednames respond in chat, only longtime forum posters.

Beastyle was in chat (or at least someone with his name) and was the one telling people to restart their browsers, try other browsers, etc., and that 'it'd eventually work'. Thus my claiming that a 'Red Name' was saying that.

Guess what? The, "effin log out problem", as you so eloquently put it, is something that they can't fix. The problem has to do with vBB itself. It happens on other forums running vBB.

The real problem is that JelSoft, the creators of vBB, refuse to admit that there is something wrong with their code. Until they get their collective heads out of their collective *****, man up, and admit they screwed up, we won't see a fix.

The only options to "fix" it at this point are 1) Roll the forum software back to an older version that didn't have this problem and may very well be incompatible with stuff from the newer version, or 2) Change forum software. Either way, that decision is in NCSoft's hands. The CoH Team has no control over that.
