Behavioral Adjustment Facility, Criticism
On day one? No wai! I can only suggest to give it more time.

Perhaps your right, I should give it more time, but honestly, I have played this as many times as I could squeeze in since the servers came up without a SINGLE success. Judgement was the shiny for me, and I am feeling sincerely let down that the design policy of CoH, respect that we are dealing with Super Heroes, is out now. We're getting pwned... and not in a fun, this is a game kind of way. We are getting ONE SHOTTED .25 seconds to death, no saving the TANK from death when you have an Empath Defender on the team.
::sighs:: but your right, balance will come in time.

Not enough Evil...
I take it back NC SOFT is enough evil for anyone...

Using threads+inf is a huge time saver too. Baf really just takes coordination, that's pretty much it. You really only need to coordinate the escapees, and the av kills. I completely understand your frustration, but soon these trials will be speed runs.

I didn't either, but at least I'm willing to keep trying.
And, yes, those Siege robots are difficult. Merely being soft capped for defense is no longer good enough. You'll need buffs on top of all that to succeed, and I saw the usually unkillable stone tankers in their cool rock armor getting dropped in seconds. For the record, my electric brute loaded up on purple inspirations at the combat medic, popped 10 of them before charging in, and managed to last on my own until they dropped. Then I got dropped.

Even the failed runs were fun for me.
Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!
Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.
Even the failed runs drop iXP, astrals, and threads. Plus, they're really short. I could get behind this.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
It is harder but overtime it will be better. Out of 6 tries 1 success last night and 2 all most close and 3 had the quit out bug.
I was able to unlock the Judgement slot and able to craft and slot it as well.
I didn't have as much trouble as some - I was on my io'd out elec/elec Brute but I did have some deaths usually from taking the only agro and getting held.
Dont forget there is a hospital in zone and a nurse selling Inspirations right there so stock up, and not just purples - Oranges are great to help out if your not capped to Energy.
Freedom Server - Main = Lil Bug & way too many alts to list
Spamming reds, purples, oranges, and yellows for the last 10-15 seconds before the hospital door unlocks makes short work of all the NPCs there. I seriously recommend everyone do that every time they're sent to the hospital. (Grab a few break frees and respites while you're at it.) :P

There does seem to be *something* going on with the alpha, my Fort is hemorraging end when doing the trials.

Och rosor i ett sprucket krus

...I almost hope thats true. That would explain why Alpha is being little more than a sound and light show when facing the final mobs...
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

It's possible that you're just fighting a lot of +3 bosses that attack rapidly and hit like a train any time they hit. Without Alpha, you'd be fighting a bunch of +4 bosses that hit like a train and a fifth!

For some reason, the game crashes every time I leave the hospital, so I'm loathe to go in there. Since there aren't any inspiration drops while you're fighting (at least there weren't during any of the times I tried it), I run out immediately. By the fourth time they shot straight through my inspiration defenses, I just stopped bothering. Didn't see the point, really.
My guy is a Blaster, I expect him to die. A lot. That's like their secondary inherent. But dying like that while providing almost no benefit to the team? Kinda of tips toward the "Not Fun At All" side of the scale.

I've never seen that behavior with Seige's posse. We always fought him *off* the courts close to the wall of the building (which helps squishies control the situation better).
As far as the 'Alpha bug' goes: There are reports that when you 'die' in an iTrial, the Alpha power doesn't turn back on. Probably related to the turning off of Temp Powers. /bug it if you see it.

None of which helped my Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster last night. I always targeted through a Tank and running 7-8 oranges at a time never kept me from getting held and killed whenever one of the 9CUs noticed me.

The point is to expend your life clearing out the 9CUs. My dominator had little trouble surviving in the largest groups while whittling them down--even in the Lambda trial with Marauder's reinforcements stacking for fifteen minutes. If you beat a bunch of the 9CUs, it lessens the load for everyone else and you might even get another minute or two of survival out of it. :P

So, you know, drop the snark, because I'm not an idiot, new guy.

I have now ran the BAF trial in enough times to see this as more then just faulty playing, or some failing on my part. It is also NOT my build, or a glitch inherent to my character or AT, as I have tested my character against both Rikti Pylons, and other end game content. My brute, SS/Inv, is soft capped for defense, and is able to stand toe to toe with Statesman, Rikti Pylons, and even run taunt defense against Lord Recluse in the STF. What I cannot do however is last more the .25 seconds against the 9CUs employed by Siege.
This is how a BAF usually plays out for a group I am in, pass the initial section, yea, no brainer, beat down the chick robot, yea no problem, stop the prisoners, it's a chore but it CAN Be done, defeat Siege, we usually manage it the first time.
Ah here is the hiccup, EVERY time we get Siege and Nightstar in the tennis court, we are attacking them, using AOEs to control the numbers of they're spawning backups, however, not all of Siege's backup report to the Tennis court, some report to his spawn point, untill he sets foot off that court, then they come running.
the 9CU has a time based scale on they're damage, the longer they are active the more damage they do. So these sleeper agents, come in and wipe out Brute, and Tank alike before an empath healer can say, Healzors!
This, is unacceptable. I understand these are suppose to be Harder content. and I accept that it is meant to be difficult. But when you have fully slotted, soft capped defense based toons dropping in the time it takes to take a breath WITH UNSTOPPABLE running... well we might as well not bother turning them on.
Add to this the Alpha slot bug, and you have a situation that is unbearable to be playing a Tank or Brute in.
I for one, am tired of failing this trial, and sadly it seems the only way to earn Incarnate XP for the Judgment slot, something the Devs said they would NEVER do was enforce a certain way of playing. Looks like that has gone out the door. The message is clear, grind, if you want the shiny, and it's a painful, hideous, losing grind at that. We don't get to win...
