That'd be awesome!

Kheldians would finally get an inherent power when solo!

  • Team Buff (with Incarnate Level Shift)

So perhaps, as a kind of mirror to what we already have, we could get...
  • Self Buff (with Incarnate Level Shift)
  • Damage Proc
  • Perma-Pet (with Incarnate Level Shift)
  • AoE Mez
  • Global Enhancement Slot (with non-Incarnate Level Shift)
Hmmm, that seems almost a bit TOO logical.

Yeah, but I wouldn't say no to it

* Vitae = Self Buff (with Incarnate Level Shift)
* Hybrid = Damage Proc
* Genesis = Perma-Pet (with Incarnate Level Shift)
* Mind = AoE Mez
* Omega = Global Enhancement Slot (with non-Incarnate Level Shift)

You know, the current slot names almost work with this scheme I came up with

Shadow clones. Duplicate your Incarnate essence several times to confuse enemies on which you is the real you. Each rank produces more clones with the first rank only producing one.

Upgrades to Primary/Secondary powers. Fire Blast DoTs are now guaranteed. Golden Dragonfly now extends the cone of damage out to 15 feet. Moment of Glory animation is now interruptable with no Rooted state from the moment it is clicked. Etc.

Upgrades to Inherent powers. Scrappers now have 10% to Critical on Minions, 15% on Lieutenants, and 20% on Bosses/EBs/AVs. Brute Fury now raises X amount of your Secondary stats (raising Fury would net more Def for SR, more Res for FA). Blasters can use higher Tier abilities with upgraded Defiance. Etc.

Allowing ATs a limited selection of other AT powers. A Scrapper could grab Heal Other (Empathy), Pistols (Dual Pistols); a Defender could grab Knockout Blow (Super Strength), Parry (Broadsword) and etc.

I could go on, but it's 2:21 and I should've been out the door a minute ago.

First of all, why don't we all define each Incarnate Ability? Each name has many definitions. Which one stands out?!

Here are the possible concepts the Developers may have:

1. Alpha: Physics and Chemistry. Leaving your old state. Enhancing your new you. Powerful than your old state.

2. Judgment: Heaven or Hell. In other words, you are going to either die or not. The nuke is probably indicating the NPC's judgement..

3. Interface: In paragon wiki it states an interface (chemistry) is a surface forming a common boundary among two different phases, such as an insoluble solid and a liquid, two immiscible liquids or a liquid and an insoluble gas. The importance of the interface depends on which type of system is being treated: the bigger the quotient area/volume, the more effect the surface phenomena will have. Therefore interfaces will be considered in systems with big area/volume ratios, such as colloids. Hence the procs chance hitting in the most damaging power. It actually fires off in any power that can slot a damage enhancement.

4. Lore: This one is very difficult to research. The only close definition I could find is an inspiration the Devs might have on this character: http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Lore

Hence the praetorians. Advanced soldiers of some kind... Still, it's very confusing.

5. Destiny: In control of your fate. Free will. Hence the buffs.

6. Hybrid: Hybrid has many definitions, as well as the other Incarnate names. Here is what I found.

Biologist perspective:

(a) In general usage, hybrid is synonymous with heterozygous: any offspring resulting from the mating of two distinctly homozygous individuals
(b) a genetic hybrid carries two different alleles of the same gene
(c) a structural hybrid results from the fusion of gametes that have differing structure in at least one chromosome, as a result of structural abnormalities
(d) a numerical hybrid results from the fusion of gametes having different haploid numbers of chromosomes
(e) a permanent hybrid is a situation where only the heterozygous genotype occurs, because all homozygous combinations are lethal.

Taxanomic perspective:

(a) Hybrids between different subspecies within a species (such as between the Bengal tiger and Siberian tiger) are known as intra-specific hybrids. Hybrids between different species within the same genus (such as between lions and tigers) are sometimes known as interspecific hybrids or crosses. Hybrids between different genera (such as between sheep and goats) are known as intergeneric hybrids. Extremely rare interfamilial hybrids have been known to occur (such as the guineafowl hybrids). No interordinal (between different orders) animal hybrids are known.
(b) The second type of hybrid consists of crosses between populations, breeds or cultivars within a single species. This meaning is often used in plant and animal breeding, where hybrids are commonly produced and selected because they have desirable characteristics not found or inconsistently present in the parent individuals or populations. This flow of genetic material between populations or races is often called hybridization.

So..

This could be an Image of your character, with slightly same powers as you but with a different ability. It could also mean an advanced version of your character. You'll be the judge of that.

7. Genesis: This one is very tricky. So I researched the whole wiki links and I found:

Science Fiction stuff: (G)amma (E)mission by N()uclear (E)xplosion (S)timulate (I)nducing (S)ystem

GENESIS uses multiple nuclear devices with Neutron Jammer Cancellers to produce a massive burst of gamma radiation, which is reflected back by an external alignment mirror and focused by a second mirror into a laser beam. This laser is sufficiently powerful that if it were to hit the Earth, a great part of the surface would be destroyed and nearly all life on the planet would be exterminated. It causes human bodies closest to the shot to inflate and explode.

I also found a very related topic of it on Religious section:

Remember in the first book of the Bible? Where God asked Noah to build an Arc? Because God is going to destroy the world by water, because evil has dominated the world. The book of Genesis is not only the creation of the universe but it also states the destruction of the whole planet to start from the beginning.

So this could be a Nuke, that has very wide area of effect. In Judgement, we have Fire, Ice, Dark and Electric... Now it can only mean we get a Toxic/Radiation nuke, Psionic Nuke, Lethal damage and possibly smashing.

8. Stance: I did some researching, and it all falls down to Defense and Resistance. This will be a buff. In Boxing, there are lots of stances to use as a defense, while you surprise an attack to your opponent. Same in karate, taekwondo and any martial arts.

9. Vitae: Vita in Latin and Italian means Life. Life (biota) is a characteristic that distinguishes objects that have signaling and self-sustaining processes (i. e., living organisms) from those that do not, either because such functions have ceased (death), or else because they lack such functions and are classified as inanimate.

Vitalism is the belief that the life-principle is essentially immaterial. Vitalism underpinned the idea of a fundamental separation of organic and inorganic material, and the belief that organic material can only be derived from living things.

I also found:

Viruses are most often considered replicators rather than forms of life. They have been described as "organisms at the edge of life," since they possess genes, evolve by natural selection, and replicate by creating multiple copies of themselves through self-assembly. However, viruses do not metabolize and require a host cell to make new products. Virus self-assembly within host cells has implications for the study of the origin of life, as it may support the hypothesis that life could have started as self-assembling organic molecules.

This could be some debuff proc, or a buff.

10. Omega: Omega is a continuation of Alpha. A compliment to Alpha, that finishes off Alpha. To make as a whole. I also found out in chemistry persective, Omega enhances all abilities multiple times. Therefore like alpha slot, Omega will enhance Alpha, Judgement, Interface, Lore, Destiny, Hybrid, Genesis, Stance, Vitae.

*The list is from un-updated version of paragon wiki. I don't have (Mind).

I would love if one of the slots added a PBAoE aura. You could choose between a damage aura, a mez aura, a debuff aura or a buff aura, with varying secondary effects. I would especially love it if each tree had an option a taunt secondary effect. My /SR and /DA Scrappers have a problem with runners, and I'd like to finally be able to fix that. Confront helps but it's not enough.

Im not sure what it could be, but a more powerful alpha slot would be awesome tbh. i went for acc/def buff for my alpha, but to also have top damage slot would be killer

My best guess would be auto or toggle self-defense powers, including:

* RES
* DEF
* HP and/or regen
* Status protection

I want the Omega slot for my necro MM to be the ability to cause zombie invasions at will.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

Clickie self-buffs (similar to Tank primary Tier 9s, but crashless)
Permanent buffs (similar to several stacked set bonuses)
AoE mez/debuff (sleep, hold, stun or confuse)
Omega might be some sort of uber toggle, adding everything from mez protection to unresistable damage procs.
