Actually, we Canadians don't have anything that we call "Canadian bacon" unless we're just referring to regular bacon from Canada, i.e. Maple Leaf brand. What Americans call "Canadian bacon" (a term Americans invented) we call "back bacon," which is smoked or unsmoked bacon cut from the boneless eye of pork loin.

Hawaiian pizza is a pizza that usually consists of a cheese and tomato base with pieces of ham and pineapple. Some versions include bacon, but the version with ham and pineapple only is the most common. Despite its name, Hawaiian pizza is not a Hawaiian invention. In Italy, "Hawaiian" pizza is considered to be a German invention, but Sam Panopoulos' claims that he created the first Hawaiian pizza at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario, Canada in 1962.

While visiting New Zealand a few years ago, I learned that they call slices of bacon "rashers."

Also, their bacon was round (at least where I had it), but otherwise it looked like what we think of as bacon, not what we call Canadian bacon.

I contend that real Bacon will perform better than Kevin Bacon after 53 years in a deep freeze with proper vacuum packing and electronation.
