My main activities in CoX are Task Forces, Missions and now Badging. Not much of a PvPer.
But above all having fun.

Heya everyone.
I am part of the EERC as well.
I've mainly been a Union player and been with this game for at least 48 months now 
I do a little of everything, but is mainly a badgewh... umm badge affordable person. I do RP from time to time and call myself a novice casual pvp'er. I've led quite a few Hamidon Raids and I plan to increase the amount and get more players into leading so that we can get even more raids going.
My hope is that we get a closer knit fellowship here on the European servers. A friendly competition is all well and good, but in the end we are all in this together. And it does not matter what "our" server is named.

In case anyone doesn't guess, I'm not in EERC, and right now my out-of-game commitments would prevent me from taking an active role, anyway, but I just wanted to applaud the posters above me for taking such a positive step, and to the CoH Community Coordinators for paying attention to this little sub-continent on the other side of the Atlantic.
I look forward to seeing and hearing about events (I'm afraid I have no thoughts right now, so this is pretty much a mild threadjack) and participating as and when I am able.

Hello. Yes, I’m in on this as well as part of EERC. I guess my reputation for making a prat of myself at player meets finally paid off.
I’ve been here since November 2005 and I’ve been running The Militia RPSG for almost as long. I’m mostly a roleplayer but I am *ahem* horizontally amenable to badges occasionally and am a bit of a lore/content buff. I suffer from appalling altisis and have played pretty much a bit of everything but there are still some things I have never done even in all this time. Accordingly, my home is on Union but I’ll be spending some more time on my neglected alts on Defiant from now on.
And no, I’m not doing the dance again.
P.S. Don’t worry Shadowe, when things calm down, he can nap in his bouncer watching the pretty lights on screen. It worked perfectly for me.

Looking forward to getting back into the city.
For those with long memories, I used to lead (along with some friends) the first successful Hami raids on defiant, but work changed all that, I 'would' like to get back to that as a start.
And yes I am also part of the EERC, 39 month vet come 5th Feb!!
All my characters are on Defiant though I do have a few on Union, but low lvl.
I enjoy some friendly PVP with my elec/therm Corr which a few off my global friends run away screaming when they see me on Kicaberry. Also a leader of a few SG's, including having my own little SG. Also I am an Operator on the channel Defiant Events!
Am also a DJ on www.roguesradio.com on a Monday night 8-10pm UK.
Teaming with friends and helping people out are the main things you'll find me doing, if not base editting.

So we're very pleased to be able to announce we're officially launching the EERC this DXP weekend with some great events and a few prizes and titles.
We'll kick off tonight at 9pm on Defiant in Pocket D, followed by a visit to Union Pocket D for more of the same at 9.15, so come and be quick to pick up some cool titles and maybe even a costume code or two.
Then tomorrow (Friday) an event on Defiant and a similar event on Union on Satuday! More on those later and nothing is designed to take much time out of your DXP gathering but you will love getting the goodies!

I want desperately to do a Hami raid on Defiant. Attempted one once and it failed badly.

Approaching 7 years now 1 on US server and the other 6 on Defiant I am apart of the TUSC EU Site or for those who don't know The Ugly Slaz Comittee. About time someone took the mantle off of Omega MCX for organising events (think he has been gone for quite a while now).

Can I suggest a dedicated forum area and that you create a global channel for anyone that is interested in the events? Global channel would be very easy to implement and coordinate to provide up to date info on your events.
Some prior warning of forthcoming events would be very helpful. It seemed a bit shambolic the other night announcing a Sister Psyche TF race half an hour before the event. Did you even get two teams together?
If I have missed this information can someone point me in the right direction?

Following the success of a recent event I ran, Avatea was kind enough to ask me to spearhead an EU Events Resource Committee, otherwise known as EERC. Needless to say I was very happy and honoured to oblige and give this great game as much support as I can.
I've been joined by a few others you may well know from these boards, and I'll let them introduce themselves because... well they can tell you more about them than I can but I think we've got a small team of players who really put themselves out for the game and improve everyone's game experience.
Our brief is very simple: We are here to help arrange events, provide a channel back to the Community Coordinators regarding events you wish to run, and to come up with events that we hope you will enjoy too, and to that end we have a few cool surprises we can maybe share with you along the way and some cool events, competitions and general fun stuff to enhance your time in the City Of Heroes franchise. Sometimes we can even give out the odd prize too!
Some of you know me from the boards and Defiant server but one of our briefs is to cross-fertilise and involve the community from both English speaking servers, but for those of you who may not know me, I'm a long term vet, closing on five years in the game and a very regular player with a number of 50s. I'm into pretty well all aspects of the game, PVE, RP, PVP, Badging, AE... you name it. I'm also a big fan of Praetoria invariably most of my toons start there these days.
We're all very excited by this and have been exercising our grey matter accordingly and we have some cool happenings for you starting this DXP weekend (Jan 11 for those of you reading this in August 2013.)
Those of you have ideas can either IM us individually, or post them in here (this thread'll be stickied by Avatea so will be highly visible) and we can then make sure they get the exposure they deserve.
