I don't see why this alters regular gameplay...I'm happy enough for it, cuz there's only so much time I can stand grinding for candy canes a day. %O

Wouldn't mind having the Chalet be permanent, it has a nice atmosphere and provides a great test area.

My pet peeve is people who refuse to acknowledge it when I tell them my character has unlimited power. If I rp attack them they are of course disintegrated beyond the ability of any hospital or magic to restore. Yet despite this they refuse to delete their characters and still keep playing them as if nothing happened. ~Mandu, 07-16-2010

Is the extended Winter event supposed to keep us busy longer because Issue 20 isn't going to be ready for a while?

Hi,

so winter extended for 4 weeks! The Dev's need to get out more, cause over here the stores are already full of Easter Eggs! (yes we still do the Valentine thing as well).

I was on Pinnacle a couple of hours ago and was the only player in the D and in the Chalet!

Not shouting doom, but just saying and wondering why the extension?

Can only see this as a positive thing. The release of i19 pulled a large amount of potential present openers and WL hunters away from the holiday events. 19 has been a boon for the TF business though which on the flip side is killing anyone trying to level up. I think the winter event is one of the few places to find a mixed level team these days. I have picked up a few shards in the winter realm and during Rikti raids, I just cant seem to get Heavies to spawn with these small teams. There is so little interest in anything not directly shard related these days. Virtue is redlined but I never see anyone.

BTW, if the events going to run for a while longer, would it be possible for someone to look into the spawn points for Winter Lords in Praetoria? Some of them are very inconveniently placed indeed (e.g. next to Warrant, or at the Imperial City train station). The pesky WLs hang around for such a long time once spawned, too.
That and WL spawns with lv 50 mobs. That's ok in Atlas where lv 50s tend to gather, not so ok in an area where people tend to leave at lv 20 for greener/meaner pastures..
