I hear double XP was related in an old mayan prophecy concerning the rebooting of humanity! So they are holding off till the apocolypse. Once THAT happens, get ready to farm farm farm!
Honestly, if they never had another again, I'd be a happy camper. People get too stressed out, impatient, and obnoxious during these weekends, and they throw the market out of whack. They'll probably have another at some point, but I'd just as soon they retire that gimmicky "event" for good.

Heard any rumors about a double xp weekend? Seems like a long time since we've had one, and they often arrive in January or February.
