I've contemplated taking my personal fortune and having a couple of the guys in our marketing clan throw together a pile and blast up past the 88's, just to hear them do the "freak out" thing. I would wonder if they would say "not possible" etc. Would be interesting, lol.

Not specifically drama about that -- it's just an observation, American Legion is a large coalition of SGs, so in theory we ought to be competing with the sum of their prestige totals. There was some drama from some unhappy heroes, but no one knows who they were, and besides, the thread got deleted.

As for the reason for the SG yes I'm aware. That really wasnt a factor in what I was saying, lol.
Really just do it for the fun of it. It wouldn't monetarily hurt me too badly as I'm pretty well set for all the toons I enjoy playing and cycle regularly. And honestly with the markets I work its not like I cant roll up stupidly big bank rolls again in a very short time.

Dude seriously go ahead....the 88s would be your biggest cheerleaders. I championed this project to prove that the most powerful farm build in this game is a patient/intelligent marketeer

What I'd like to see happen, if not going and doing it on Freedom itself.
Go to the server with the LOWEST threshold of Prestige Earnings (and possibly lowest population) and build the prestige to a level that would qualify as 1st place on ANY server (including Freedom).
This sends two messages.
1: Server population is COMPLETELY irrelevant to marketeers.
2: We can do this ANYPLACE.
The existence of the 88's already proves:
A: It CAN be done.
B: I can be done RAPIDLY.

But wouldn't the lowest pop server have the least eyeballs looking at the prestige count along with least general interest in SG ranking? Your efforts at notoriety wouldn't have as significant affect to the ones who might care, nor would it be lasting since it's not in their face.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Since markets are completely merged these days, I don't see how server affects marketeering.
