Some of you, not all of you. I kindly thanked the ones who pointed me towards the 9 dollar cyber monday again I greatly appreciate it, that is the issue with forums though 75 percent of the people do not fully read the thread and kind of jump to conclusions on the end.

So it seens all your questions are solved. You know the prices, the advantages or disadvantages, the timeline of offers and the options to play.
Your decision is only yours.
Your opinion is set, so anything else on this thread is flames, from one side or the other.
Do what you find its best for you.

And again... Not sure what the disconnect was between you and the suggestions of Elec/Elec Blasters (Versatile, more than just blam blam fighitng), Warshades (even more versatile and different than normal)...
Corruptors and Dominators also have a lot to them beyond just damaging.
Defenders too...
I saw lots of potential, but more resistance instead of interest.

It may not work for you, but my advice is to imagine a character, something that seems fun to you and maybe even something with a bit of a backstory to it... And then realizing that character in-game turns into a whole new level of fun.
THIS is one of the most true statements. I, being an army medic and a quiet guy, wanted to play an army medic who is a loud ***, and therefore my first guy was a emp/sonic defender. I was a complete support guy who stood back and kept the team alive and well. I felt the cool feeling of knowing if i did my job it was mission completed every time. This still holds true today, albeit with other sets coming in and doing well. (This of course was way back in I9 so it was in the days of a mil infamy being alot of money and SO's, DO's and HAMI's being your only option.)
I am waiting for someone (even though these are all biased opinions here) to give a devils advocate good reason to try CO. Unfortunatly I havent heard anything good about them other than all the power selections and open ended AT selection...which sounds cool, but having a theme is what makes everything fun to me, so i would hate being overwhelmed with options. If i want all that, I would use a Kheld or a SoA. Currently I am loving night widows, who combine a little bit of claws and spines melee with scrappers and stalkers.
For someone who wanted all that, i have it now.
If you aren't sure, try it. When you figure out that this game is the best in its genre, you'll be back.

Incarnate content is coming, which is a way for level 50s to get more powerful. There are hundreds of tip missions you can run (which are better written than most of the regular content) and there will soon be many more. You can side switch a villain AT to hero side and vice versa. And anything that is added to the Going Rogue expansion in the future will be free of charge, since you already paid for the expansion.
It really sounds like you are just making excuses to avoid spending the money. Paying $40 for an expansion that more than doubles the content any given character can do is definitely worth it. If you're going to complain that it isn't enough, when a lot of the stuff being added is coming within a couple more weeks, I don't know what to tell you.
That's my opinion. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but it's my opinion regardless.
PS: There are FOUR powersets with the expansion. Dual Pistols, Demon Summoning, Electric Control, and Kinetic Melee.
And, for the record, I DID read the entire thread, and the only person I saw being a jerk in it was you. People tried to explain what else is in the expansion that makes it worth the money, but you kept repeating "It's just a couple powersets and 1-20 content" and it is a LOT more than that, which you refuse to listen to.
So, buy it, or don't buy it, the decision is yours, but there is no call to accuse people who were honestly trying to help of something they were not doing (being jerks)

Now you could have simply said that you can't afford the expansion unless it goes on sale for a lot less than it's currently being sold for, and left it at that. Instead you chose to denigrate it and imply that it's overpriced.
You fixated on the Praetorian 1-20 content and ignored everything else that comes with the expansion. Then you got defensive when people explained everything else that comes with the expansion so you'd understand how big an impact having it has on the game.

But feel free to delude yourself that people weren't trying to be helpful. Whatever game you ultimately end up playing you'll never find a nicer community than the one we have here.

No in another post about this I said I could not afford it already and your wrong it was not 12 hours, I did not find out until that night, did you ever consider I went to work and came back after I asked? Of course you didnt, no one went out of there way they spammed a simple link come on, that is nothing and I thanked those people but there where a few others who where not helpful at all and I will continue to delude myself thank you very much have a nice day.
Yes it was almost 12 hours. You acknowledged the sale between 1 and 2 am, and I was person that kept checking the site that had the sale and posted 2 or 3 updates that it was still ongoing up until they took it down between 12 and 1 pm the next day. That adds up to almost 12 hours.

Plus, yanno, that 1-20 content is pretty awesome. And the $40 is only for the bundle pack that includes a key for the whole game, not just an expansion upgrade. Also includes a free moth of play, so effectively $25. And you can likely find it for less at other retailers. Point is, you're not paying that much for "an expansion", you're paying that much for the whole game.
Another thing to consider: CO is going free to play at the beginning of next year.

I did not know it was the whole game but I do not need the whole game I have a special edition of coh and cov good vs evil edition, and vet rewards therefor was not worth it to me anyways since I currently own those.

I do not even know if I will enjoy this mmo after a month anyways but for some reason you all insist on being jerks to me about my own opinion of what the expansion is worth, enough is enough back off ok?
And on the note about having to wait I never said I would not wait I said I need an online game to play, I will get bored only playing some of my single player games, so I was trying to find an alternative I never demanded it I asked nicely but you just threw it in my face like the jerks you are.
The correct meaning is I did not want to wait good god.
Yeah what kind of community goes out of its way to show someone where they can get a new expansion on sale for half price and less. That's not the type of behaviour that will endear new/returning players to the game.
