Pro-tip: Don't advertise a lvl 50 ToT team on any global channel... you'll end up with most of the team under lvl 25. Of course, when you finally have to leave everyone will wipe, but still...

Looking back at people that used to do it, part of me still wants to say it wasn't being mean. If they were a lowbie there, they were just looking to get PL'd. And if they went AFK in an area without police drones, whose fault is that? But yeah... it's griefing.

Speaking of griefing, I've always wanted to make a grav controller or dom with foe teleport and do annoying stuff like teleport mobs onto squishies and use dimensional shift at the worst times. Or maybe an ill/storm controller slotted for max KB.
I'm joking of course, but the thought of it does make me laugh sometimes.

In PI, we'd broadcast for padders, but we had one teammate on monster isle (or monkey isle, whichever). When they all joined, we would group recall them "to the mish door!" but they'd go to the island instead, and get destroyed. It worked every time, until they killed padding :[

I dunno if it was griefing, but all I do is use broadcast in whatever zone I'm in, saying "Team looking for more! PST to (insertshamerster'scharacterhere)"......when I wasn't ever on the team. This use to work like a charm a lot more before people could find out global names easily (unlike Lenilya (sp?) ).
Don't know who it griefed more if the poor soul did get on the team.......*shrug*

One thing I used to do when I farmed a lot and got tired of the PL beggards is invite them to the team and map the mission with them as padders. Once I was done I would kick them off team. I didn't consider it wrong, they were the ones annoying me for a PL after all.
As for pulling GMs onto players in PI, I don't see anywhere in the ToS where it mentions this behavior specifically. I guess this is where loose interpretation comes into play as it could be considered harassment. I do know that Aquabladez once pulled Eochai under the Atlas Statue one time while I was hosting a costume contest and instead of petitioning him, I thought it was the funniest thing ever.
I also know that you cannot get into trouble for sneaking into a leadership role in an unpopular SG and holding their base for ransom, because if it was then I would have certainly found out about it. I'm not mentioning the SG that that was done to, but let's just say they are no longer playing on this server
Intentionally causing debt for other players is a ToS violation, generally. The problem is showing intent. Most of the people that have gotten suspended for pulling monsters / herding mobs onto people were also stupid enough to admit doing it in game chat.
Apparently they weren't smart enough to realize that maybe, just maybe, the game logs chat.
