Praetorian Epics?
From the comments from the Devs at the New York Comic Con, it's likely they'll get an Epic AT at some point.
Personally, I'm hoping for "Devoured infected" and "Super-soldier"
With the Devoured Infected being allies of the Resistance in the hopes of tearing down the Sonic Barriers so Hamidon can kill everyone, initially, but through the course of their storyarc becoming disconnected from Hamidon, and eventually seeking to flee to Primal Earth to keep Hamidon from controlling your actions... Powers would include melee and (short) ranged attacks with ranged debuff-taunts and pets in the form of rock, plant, mushroom, and crystal DE, underling sized.
While the Super Soldiers are infected with a nearly-perfected Ghoul Serum which gives them a set of unique melee attack powers and a combination of defensive toggles and PBAoE Debuffs/Controls to keep groups in place while you tear into their weakened flesh... Of course you break away from Cole's regime a bit by the end of their arc, and have the choice of becoming a Resistance Member (What did they do to me?!) or serving the Loyalists (They're the only ones who understand me)
What..? >.>
I think it'd be neat.

I definitely like the Devoured Infected idea
In my opinion I would love a seer, or give me the hover that they use because it's to die for
Anything Hamidon related sounds interesting, what about Praetorian versions of the primal earth epics?
There are endless possibilities :P
Thanks for the info ben
I want to play as a War Walker.
Praetorean Epic:
Clockwork!
ok, you can stop laughing now.
It's going to be humanoid. No devouired infected--at least, not without drastic changes (maybe have the devoured be a form--like the Nova/Dwarf from Kheldians)
My only problem with anything hamidon related is I want something fresh and new, unless it's something players crave like the VEATS, before they came out I loved Arachnos and always wanted to make a toon as one, and we got that ability. So the problem would be that we would get devouring earth powers... no...I've seen lots of those underlings and can honestly say no thank you. So something related to the Praetorian story but not yet seen.
I want something that isn't so tied to the storyline, that you don't have a bit of leeway with it.

That's true, something that a player can either work into the Loyalist/Resistance theme or do something that is their own idea works just as great if not better
Exclamation: Exhasperated sigh
Realisation: Humans never learn
Praetorian linked EAT: Flawed
Rikti EAT: Superior
Link to Going Rogue: Easy
Morality Status: Traditionalist: Alternative: Restructurist
Story potential: Vast
Playstyle potential: Fun
Superiority: Clear
World Domination Plans: Step Closer: Status: Completion
All Hail: Lineage of War!
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I whole-heartedly endorce this! 8)
Me is has confused?
Are rikti praetorian or are you suggesting bringing rikti into praetoria?
I love the rikti look but really can't see me being interested in a rikti EAT, I mean most of their powers are kind of boring
A Praetorian EAT could quite easily be a reworking of the "Spy AT" that was mentioned in that marketing survey from a couple of years ago - it would work well for the undercover Paretorian missions, and it'd work in the post 20 Primal Earth content too - a Spy/Scout/Infiltrator AT could be Resistance or loyalist, and still fit in with the Praetorian storyline, including the dimensional war.

A Nictus/Hamidon combo? A Peacebringer merges with a Kronos Titan? Ghoul with a Crab backpack? Resistance Member/Shivan Mastermind crossover?

I could go for that.
The Chief Solder would have to be spiced up a bit not to just be a Broadsword Scrapper with a different costume.

If it's anything, it's most likely it'll be the Syndicate. They could have a fairly unique Gun/Sword Assault Primary and a Natural/Psychic Defense set. Maybe grow out into either a Pyrokineticest for more damage, or a primary Telekineticest for more control (and maybe even a limited version of that clone power DeVore uses)
Techbot Alpha: views: agreeable.
Support: concurrent; traditionalists superior.
However: full support: you have mine.
To clarify: Praetorians: not.
None-the-less: epic: in the best sense.
Am I the only one that hates Rikti Speak?
It's like leet speak... only grammatically incorrect.
I could live with Ghouls, Clockwork, or the Hamidon Spawn.
Praetorian Police too, but they're not that "epic" compared to Powers Division. And maybe it's just me, but I think Seers would be neat, if for no other reason than to get access to their hover stance. Probably too close to Fortunatas though.
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
Not sure if this thread fits in this forum but I haven't seen anyone suggest this but does anyone think that the unavailability of epics in the Praetoria starters may lead to Praetorian epics? Or is there just a reason why hero and villain epics are not allowed? I mean I would understand the VEATS but I'm sure Kheldians exist in some form or other in Praetorian Earth.
