Ok, looked through the builds on here and created this

Any advice on what I should change?
I'm going to get tier 3 incarnate powers, what should I go for?
If I were to eventually get purple recipes, where should they go?

    Energy/FA Farmer

I've looked through the past couple of pages but could not find a build for a ss/fa with the fire epic. Could anyone share what they have? I will probably stick to a moderate cost until I see how well I can make the inf flow.

If I were to make an ss/fa how would I go about getting to 50 quickly? I've tried working through fire farms on lower levels but that doesn't go well or I might be doing something wrong.

    Energy/FA Farmer

I've had this brute forever and I really don't feel like creating a new character for farming. Any advice on what I should slot my melee powers? I will most likely just take an ss/fire build and adapt it to Energy Melee.

Just a small question, has anyone ever suggested that they have a contest for players to remake the old contact missions via AE? Keeping the story the same but give it some general updates.
  11. So I'm very near to being level 50 on my crab (one too many ITF's) and I've been scouring through this thread looking for builds that could help me decide on my own. I don't have ready access to Mids on my Mac which has been an obstacle.

It seems that many of the builds are focused on expensive IO's that I cannot afford. I'm looking to have a build with all three pet powers with either a melee/ranged hybrid or full ranged. Is it feasible for me to have a good build without losing every penny I have? What suggestions do you have?
  12. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I already have a shield scrapper so I'm trying to go with something I don't have yet.

The whole to hit thing is a bit scary since it's one of my pet peeves in the game.
  13. I'm thinking about making a shield tanker or brute with a melee set of axe or mace.
I want to be able to tank and will probably take taunt but don't want to sacrifice too much damage capabilities.

Additionally, which of the two melee sets is better and do they work well with shields?

    Any feedback would be great.

The build I have is very old and I basically just bought sets with no regard to bonuses or anything, I thought that thats how one did it back then xD

So really this is just a complete remake, I focus more on my ranged capabilities and rarely use the melee powers. I want to avoid end issues as much as possible without sacrificing too much damage output. I prefer the fire epic pool theme wise but I can make something else work if other epics are better for the AT. I will get up to the third tier of whatever alpha and interface slots fit the build the best.

    Fire/Elec build

I figure its time for my fire/elec blaster to have a new IO build
    The current build is...not worthy
Anyone have any builds to share? Any suggestions?

    Mouse Skipping

I use a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse with my macbook and when I play the game the pointer jumps around a lot when I use the mouse. If I try using the trackpad then everything is fine. It gets really annoying when I'm fighting and my pointer skips powers and I click on the wrong powers. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Or need more info?

    New Stalker

I would like to make a new stalker now that I22 has hit and need some advice on power choices. I only want to solo with this character (about time I read up on the new and old story arcs). I basically need advice on which powersets will let my stalker solo well from the beginning to end. For primaries I'm looking at Ninja Blade, Street Justice, Kinetic Melee, and because I love the animations Energy Melee. I'm not really too picky when it comes to the secondaries except that I despise the look of ice armor and energy aura, they keep me from ogling at my costumes

I'm thinking these questions are rather basic but every time I try to make a stalker I stop because I'm unsure of what to pick. Advice shall be rewarded with a single sacrifice of goat blood.

I'm going to guess that they split the costumes apart so we don't get the tons of costume pieces for 400 points and so they can spread the releases out...seems logical to me
