There are a couple of them, Mage Killer Zukhara I think has them both. Not very common, as they only appear in two missions within her 'The Circle Plot arc, so far as I recall.

The ice swords they summon are independently targetable, but you're better off targeting the prince as the swords go dead once the summoner's dealt with.

So far as the swords in the video go, I'd guess that they're likely to be a reskinned version of the Blade Prince power, but I have no idea if they're a new power for Battle Maiden, or a power available to players from within the Incarnate system. Have to wait and find you, I suppose.

Nope. There are just the two, right now.

Two are storyarcs, not TFs, and the other two aren't in-game, yet. The only Evil Cole you can smack around is Nazi Cole.

Those are the same tentacles you see not only in the Hydra Trial, but in the sewers of the Abandoned Sewer Network and the drainage pools in Faultline.

The video shows them popping up in a... surprise, sewer!

But a story arc still counts for slapping an evil Cole, so helping Maria Jenkins can also give the same amount of Cole-slapping action as the KTF

Technically there are only 3, then. The two Column TFs and the legacy Maria Jenkins arc.

Since the new one is a clone it's not -his- face. It's the clone's.

Though if you're looking to punch his face without regards to whether it's attached to him you could always print out a picture of him to punch or put your fist through a monitor.

I don' think we're going to meet him on a TF until we've got more Incarnate slots available - if he's become so powerful, we'll probably need a lot more than just the alpha slot to be able to take him down.

Actually, I'm working on a model of him for comic book purposes

I'm willing to wager that since this is the ALPHA STRIKE, I bet that these two Task Forces are NOT the last we will hear from Praetoria. I bet we WILL fight Emperor Cole eventually once we become powerful enough.

If he's hugely powerful, he might even be used in a raid of some sort.

EDIT: I'd be fun to fight him in his laval cave lair - the new MJ arc says that place is linked to the Praetorian Well of the Furies, which is why it's the only place an Incarnate like Statesman could be held prisoner, because those glowing restraint things are linked to the Well - but it could also make for an awesome raid area where Tyrant draws on the power of the Well to fight us - he'd probably have a legion of Olympian Guards to help him out too

Oh that's a given. Eventually after we kick the crap out of all his little Praetor minions, he's going to show up himself grumbling, "If you want something done right..."

I really hope that sword aura becomes available to players either as a temp power or an incarnate ability.

HEck I'd be happy if it were just a cosmetic aura that we could unlock.

This kicked it for me. I bet it's an Incarnate ability.

Actually, you should thank the Marketing team. Though I make artistic suggestions and prioritize edits, the actual production and release is handled by Black Pebble and co.

B-but ... Marketing are soulless Void Beasts who gorge themselves on the suffering of innocent players! You mean they did something good?!

I'm scared, David. Hold me. I think end times are upon us.

My first thought about stopping the Praetorian invasion is: How strong are Primal Earth/Rikti relations these days? lol

Also, someone tell Reichsman that there is a pretender to his power on the way. :P

Just as it switches to the burning roof of Wentworths... Is that ash falling from the sky? Could there be environmental effects coming? There is a lightning flash in the static picture of the fallen Ouroboros platform, so something more dynamic??

There could be a "Marcus Cole Club" in which only people with legal I.D. proving that they are the one and only Marcus Cole are invited.

It would be more populated than The Crucible.

Y'know, I'd absolutely LOVE it if the Traditionalist Rikti (that's the faction we've begun working with, right?) stepped up and helped the Primal Earth effort against the Praetorian invasion. Despite the various Vanguard arcs that detail this schism among the Earthbound Rikti, there's not much evidence overall that there are actually Rikti who are interested in peace. All we see outside of those arcs are hostile Rikti soldiers in the streets and occasional Rikti bombing runs.

*grins*

Michelle: "What are the three terrors of Marketing? One - the 'developer gag.' No problem - a couple drinks at the M&G after the panel, we can avoid that. Two - the 'advertising black hole', which players were clever enough to subvert with YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, so we can avoid that too."
David: "But Michelle, what about the B.P.O.U.S.'es?"
Michelle: "Black Pebbles of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist."

That's a common misconception.... actually, several misconceptions in that post.

Take, for example, the frequent supposition that marketers are soulless.

This oft-used statement arises from the (incorrect) assumption that their lack of fear of the eternal damnation of which their lies, damn lies, sheer sadism, and misdirections should have prepared for them is because they have no souls to be damned. The most popular hypothesis includes the idea that they lost said souls through a deal with the devil-- exchanging the etheral core of self for the silvery-tongued skills that torment us so.

There is some grain of truth in that thinking-- marketers have, indeed, made such a deal with the devil... but it takes the form of a promissary note, not an immediate tranfer. Until the time identified in the contract, the soul must remain with the marketer-- indeed, as the source of all intelligent expression and creativity, the soul cannot leave lest he be unable to make use of the gifts of persuasion necessary in his role as deceiver.

It is only after the contractually-established time that the devil claims his due. At this post-animus state, the empty vessel, devoid of what little creative spark may have fueled his former role in life, lacks the necessary prerequisites to be considered a marketer, so the expression of "soulless marketer" never accurately applies. Instead, these lethargic husks, still gifted with oratorical skill but lacking of spark or intellect, should be identified by the more appropriate label of "senior management."

---
EDIT: Marketing's characterization as void beasts, that they gorge themselves on suffering, and that any players are truly innocent are all commonly-held falsehoods that I could further elaborate on... perhaps another time.
