If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Hey, I just noticed: The announcement mentions "great discussions, food and fun!"
Food? The rest of the announcement does not mention food. Is dinner provided? Are there vegetarian options available?
San Francisco has some of the best dining in the world, but I will need to know if I need to get take-out!

I would have enjoyed flying out for some fun out there, but it isn't going to happen this weekend.
I hope everyone has a grand time and do post pictures of the David Nakayama sketches please!

If there is please post answers!
There won't really be a panel as this is not a convention, but there will be open discussions about upcoming content from i19, i20, i21, and future desires. Also booster packs, Holiday plans, new/refined features, and information on the upcoming HeroCon 2011.
And since this is a Meet&Greet you can meet the devs and marketing (maybe) and speaking to them about what you'd like to see or ask if it's feasible. ^_^

Reminded me a lot of the first Meet & Greet back in 2007.
The big plus was that was in my city instead of having to drive down the penninsula.
Met up the the usual suspects, Armitage, Demonic Raven, M.Meaner, and finally got to meet and talk to Texas Justice. I forgot to gnaw his forehead.
The food was good, presentation was cool, the roundtables were fun, and I won this in the raffle:

I have to say I found myself laughing...a lot! Had a great time and really have to say, the Devs are truly amazing people. Who in their right mind would willingly lock themselves into a room with rabid fanactics and listen patiently and sympathetically as people spelled out their weird fantasies to be animated furries, tattooed, stiletto-heeled, poo blasters, or meglomaniacal materminds with clone armies? Those guys so totally rock.
It was a great event! I'm glad I finally got to come to one of them. It was worth driving the 720 miles (round trip). Heck, there were people who drove in from further away and some who flew in.
Got to meet many players and many of the devs while I was there. Pity we didn't have more time since I would have loved to have gotten a game of Dominion in.
Noticed there was also Kingsburg and Aquire in the stack of games too. We'll have to make a nice boardgaming session when the next Herocon happens. (Yes, I want a Herocon!)

That WAS a lot of fun. It was a bit crowded; a larger space would have been more comfortable for all. The devs are remarkable people, and it was great to have a more intimate gathering with them. Still, the consensus from the crowd seemed to be that Cons are the thing, and that we'd be willing to pay a bit for one.
I hope nobody was unduly offended by my fortune cookies, they were there for fun. It sounded to me as if they entertained a few people at least.

I would like to see a return of HeroCon AND a continued Paragon Studios presence at Cons across the country. I think that helped CoX's visibility and brought in new players, and wasn't just limited to meeting current players who could attend.

My preference would be 2 con years then a travel year ... I'm a fan of the cons myself (I was chanting too) .. even though I come from the east coast.
A chance of rain is forecasted for Saturday evening and Sunday. It tends to be windy in the city so pack appropriate attire. Dress in layers. If you are flying in, expect delays in arrival/departure times at SFO, OAK, and SJO if it is raining.
