Yeah. I destroyed 90% of my inf and now I don't know how much money I have.

I destroyed about 1/5 of my inf. The rest is all tied up in bids for stuff I don't need so I can resell it to people who do 'need' it.

Bob can be picked up at any market. There is of course a small "release" fee for picking him up, but its nothing a marketeer can't handle.
I will agree with the perspective thing. I dipped under 2 bil total on all of my characters (flurry of burning / slotting / giving away) and about had a stroke! "But but but... what if I want to slot out a new character?! (knowing that I normally pay no more than 300-400mil for an entire toon)
It has motivated me to start working again. Marketeering on 2 characters now!

Which is down from the 12 I was using 3 weeks ago.
I usually have one or two 'active' marketeers going at any given time, but for characters I'm not playing much I like to have a handful of insultingly lowball bids out for super expensive stuff- usually when I check in on them every month or two I find some nice surprises. Gleemail is great, I had all these characters I don't play with a few hundred million each which I was able to collect and set on fire for the 88's.

Oooh, they did a study on that a while back. They asked people with different income levels how well they were doing. The people who were most likely to say they just barely made enough to get by? The richest people earning six figures in US dollars! I wonder if I can find that study again.

The other night I had a 'What the hell was I thinking?!?' moment.
I'd just emailed myself 100M inf from one of my toons to free up space for more, made up a few Generic IO's to sell (yes, I'm still making my inf from generics), noticed I'd suddenly dropped below 1.9billion inf and had a minor panic.
Wait, what?
What happened to my sense of perspective? I was worried that I only had 1.898 billion inf on a toon? Seriously? <facepalm>
I also suffer from a blindness to the last three digits of my inf counter.
<exits, shaking head>
So be aware, prolonged marketing may cause severe loss of perspective and undesirable psychological effects.
