There's no current way to do this AFAIK. You can talk to Customer Support about this, but I don't think they'd be able to do anything for you. Still, checking couldn't hurt I guess.

Don't see them doing this tbh, Merging accounts at customers request costs them money... money from the account that you wouldn't be paying each month as your down to one, or money that you would be spending recreating those characters and time spent,
So it's pretty much shooting themselves in the foot to offer this....
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
If you have high lvls on your other account and you want to get the stuff you have off them, why not resub the old account and give it all to the new one?
Or if its just lowbies you enjoyed that you wanted to move over, why not remake them? Easy enough to level nowadays 
Personally I'd choose which account to stick with, strip and forget about the other.

OK, I'll give you $x and you make me these 6 lvl 50s on these servers on a new account each with 500M inf, then I'll merge the account with mine etc. Would make catching RMTers pretty difficult.

The reasons I listed are alot more probable to be the reason.
I don't see how RMT'ers would have any more advantage tbh than they do now... They still do as you said..

Your best bet probably would have been to call support and get your old account reactivated instead of creating a new one. Even if you don't have the same e-mail address anymore, you can call them and verify ownership of the account by using your full name and previous payment methods you used. If you provide them enough correct information, they could reset the password for you so you could have started on the same characters again. You probably still can... but there would be no refund on the new account either way.

I have an account with 30 toons across 2 servers.
I want some high level toons on 2 more servers and some inf.
At the moment, I have to hand over my password to the RMTers, or get them to sell me an account and then I have to pay for two if I want both sets of toons.
If we could merge accounts, I only have to pay for one, and this method would become the method of choice for people who don't want to hand over their password, or do anything visible to the ingame logs.

At least in some games, the rule is that you can transfer stuff only if it's clearly in your own name.
Of course, the RMTers could make new accounts in your name, I suppose.

Well think about it, they don't merge servers currently and they are obvioulsy not out of business, so maybe this hinge of your argument isn't as strong as you think because plently of players must be happy to hand there p/w over as we speak.
Like I said, your point that Devs avoid this option to stop RMT'rs is at best "Far Fetched".

What about this? I have had my account for five years. I bought my son an account three years ago, but not paying attention I ended up creating an entirely new master NC account. I'd rather just have them both under my master account and pay once a month for both. As it is now I pay for each at two diffferent times a month which is a pain, though not a big one but one none the less.
If I can prove they are both my accounts do you think they'd combine them? I'm guessing no and that's why I haven't persued it but since we've brought it up here....

We are unable to transfer a character from one account to another - character transfers only work to move a character from one server to another, *within the same account*.

it would be basically the same thing as merging two accounts. You're moving toons whether one or all.

Mine is purely a billing situation, whereas the OP wants his old toons on his current account so he can play. I never want my toons and my son's toons to be on the same account. Thanks though.

Only real way to change the billing date is to let an account lapse until the day you want it on.

All my characters
Back when issues were in single digits, I used to play CoH (no CoV yet!) with an account set up with an email I no longer have. When I came back, I created a new account.
What I'm wondering is this: Is it possible for tech support to merge my old account with my new account? Or more specifically, could they pull my old toons into my new account?
There's really only one or two toons I'd be interested in playing again, so it's no big deal if they can't. But it'd be nice if they could.
