'Any Which Way but Zeus' comes our way tomorrow night at 11:30 PM.

Looks like Shore Leave (Holy Diver?) and 21 are involved....

Go Team Venture!

It's...it's henchman number....!

Oh wow

Brock's codename being Topanga Lawrence made me laugh.

Hank's finally learning! Keep him till the ransom check clears!

The next episode looks to be full of win as well.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Watched it, liked it, the only part that I didn't like was when Rusty Venture was talking to Hank about him and his brother. Not sure if I heard it right but it seemed that Dr. Venture was saying he sees Dean as someone who wants the Venture life, and would fit right in with it. Were Hank was just born, tagging along and rebelling against it. Doesn't Dr. Venture see that Hank would actually enjoys it and wouldn't mind the Venture life were as Dean is doing everything he can to hide and escape from it. So far I really haven't seen much character growth or development in Dr. Venture other than being a pompous ******* to everyone around him.

Dr. Venture *is* a pompous ****. He'll never change. The series isn't about him. It's all about Hank and Dean and their character growth. Rusty is there mostly as an example of how bad the boys could grow up to be if everything goes wrong.

I read something online where somebody was asking why The Venture Brothers aren't a bigger deal. Metapocalypse had a hit album. Robot Chicken won an Emmy. Aqua Teen Hunger Force got a movie. But The Venture Brothers is better than any of them -- in my opinion it's the best ongoing series on television, anywhere. Why isn't it as popular as Dr. Who? It deserves to be.

New Webcomic -- Genocide Man
Life is funny. Death is funnier. Mass slaughter can be hilarious.

I don't know, I liked this part. It was really the first time it seemed like Rusty actually cared about Hank. Even if he still doesn't want to accept that Dean has no wish to be a super scientist.

That's pretty much it. Rusty think's Dean lives for it (Much like his father), which is why he keeps pushing Dean twords it. Hank, he believes, rebels against it. And despite what you think, I think this shows some great character growth on Rusty's part. Is he misguided? Yes, he is. But at the same time, he truly DOES care for the boys, otherwise he wouldn't identify with hanks "Rebellion" and feel sorry for Hank being stuck in the very same life he himself hated.

It may be a mistake on his part, but it doesen't change the fact that his heart is in the right place.

The only reason he's started to care about 'em is because he doesn't have the clones any more to replace 'em when they do something stupid like jump off the roof while wearing a Batman outfit.

It was also great to see another episode with Phantom Limb's ever-growing "Revenge Society". They mentioned there are five member in it now... we know of Professor Impossible and Underbite (most probably). Who are the others, I wonder?

I have a hunch the Revenge Society is what this season's finale will be about.

Even with the clones, he still cared. Like when Rusty took Dean shopping for his very first Speed Suit.

I wouldn't say he cared all that much. Given the amount of laughing that he and Brock did over the various times and methods of the clones' deaths. To me, the speed suit thing was the epitome of the father trying to force his son down the path that the dad wants, regardless of the kid's feelings.

Dean was never as open as Hank and bottles it up. I hope Ghost Robot will come back.

However, it's been shown that Brock actually cares for Hank and Dean, and he was laughing about it too. They could laugh at it now because for them, Hank and Dean were still alive (Even if just clones). And now we know that it's not because Rusty was trying to force his lifestyle on Dean, he honestly thinks it's what Dean wants. He thinks Hank is rebelling against the very lifestyle he *HATED* growing up, and feels sorry that Hank is so much like him. That's why he pushes Hank away, in a misguided attempt to protect him. His hearts in the right place, he just doesen't realise he's got things mixed up.

Loved the conversation about the b00bs - amazed at how many times they trumped each other!

I'm liking Henchman 21's continued growth.
So how far is he going to go?
Going to eventually try to take the Monarch's crown? Going to try to take Dr. Mrs. The Monarch?

The "Hench4Life" tattoo and some of his previous words have told me that he's dedicated to the henchman concept and lifestyle, but he's starting to push his limits.

I get the feeling he'll be a lot like Vader. Crazy powerful, but still a loyal henchman who takes orders from the Emperor.

Funny thing is, being Henchman 21, he'll actually think he's like Vader, too.

I now expect to hear a 21 = Vader, Monarch = Emperor comment from him soon.
