Iron Man 2 Alternate Opening

I was surprised they didn't use Pepper kissing the helmet instead of him then throwing it out for him to go fetch. That bit worked really well (especially the 'You complete me!' as he bails out)
But yeah, the rest was a little odd for me XD

Different market demographics. This could easily have been the opening for the film in the UK vs. what was in the states.
Either that it was filmed, reviewed and scrapped. Though it's kind of funny to see Tony being airsick considering he can fly at ultrasonic speeds in his armor.
I was wondering where they got the "You complete" bit from for the trailers I saw on tv.

most movies have "alternate" beginnings. You just don't see them much because they are usually just differently cut or longer versions of the used one and add nothing dif to the movie overall... just like this one.
I dont know i kinda liked it...what was the opening? Its sad i cant remember alot of Iron Man 2...i can remember most if not all of the first one
Yeah, not so much.
Starting out with Tony being hungover and throwing up would have been a horrible tone to start the movie off with.

So yeah I believe the stuff he was drinking after his test flight was the antidote.

I'm glad this got cut. I already thought IM2 relied to oheavily on being jokey and this opening is definitely more jokey than I remembered the actual opening to be. I don't think this would have made a good first impression for me.
