Do the Rogue Isles have the equivalent of an Atlas Park?

Is there a place, red side, that is easy for lowbies to get to and high-level players also hang out, costume contests, etc.?

It seems like Cap au Diable is pretty active for a wide level range, but I would guess it's for the convenience of the the market/university/vault/vanguard quadfecta and therefore more comparable to Steel Canyon in that regard.

Although I've been playing this game since the beginning, I've never spent much time on the villain side. I just recently upgraded my computer and I've found that part of the reason I must have avoided it was because of all the geometry and the low frame rate on my old box.

I'm finding it a lot of fun discovering all these "new" (5-year-old) zones, but the player dynamic is quite different from what I can tell. Very kind and helpful like blue side, just different.

Villains are more interested in causing mayhem and chaos than socializing

I've seen a costume contest in Mercy before... but then again, I think that might have been the only villainside costume contest I can remember seeing. So there's definitely not a set spot for it...

If you think the parallel is better between Cap Au and Steel than Cap Au and Atlas, then I guess there isn't an Atlas. People just don't tend to hang out in Mercy.

People tend to run as fast from mercy as they can. Seen a few CC's there, an sometimes people hanging out by Kalinda (all on virtue btw). Cap tends to get the most people around. Doesnt seem to be any real hang out spots.

Cap au Diable is the closest thing to a central hub and gathering place redside. Most costume contests and similar other events i've seen organized redside have been there, with a few held in Mercy.

Dr. Todt's theme.

Thankfully, no.

The closest we have is Mercy Island (by Kalinda), and the parking lot in Cap (near the black market).

The largest concentration of players, in my experience, is the Cap market.

No costume contests, though, but I havn't really seen one of those in Atlas lately either.

Yeah, even for players not using the market, that area is a redside hub since the mid-upper level ferry is there, and the university is there. The zone also has the lower level ferry, the black helicopter, and access to Bloody Bay.

Rikti War Zone as well. Least that is why I tend to use it as a hub.

Ah, yes, forgot about that one.

Also, redside Ouroboros sends you back to any sone on the mid-upper level ferry, which includes Cap Au Diable.
