Definitely quit, but don't give away your stuff. It's not like the stuff rots when you're gone, and I've seen a number of players quit, erase their characters, etc. only to come back months (or sometimes years) later. Then they have some regret.
They also have free reactivation weekends, and it may be fun to tool around on old toons which are enhanced, and then go back to what you were doing.

Nah, the Tourney will be ... maybe less boring than every normal, dead, inactive day for PvP.

you have to register what toons ur gonna be using here in this thread
YOU CAN REGISTER 3 TOONS MAX!
and you have 10min prior to ur match to pick what toon u will use
It's your tourney, but the switching of toons might make the event take longer than it otherwise would. It does kinda help the.... this can't beat this/rock, paper, scissors aspect, but it's still gonna happen randomly with what you select anyway.
I think you'd be better off with a single global registering a single toon, but that's just my opinion.
