Any Active Heavy RP SG's out there.. is this thing on?

Well it was just a matter of time, you come back from a hiatus, you say to yourself "Nah I have my own base and friends to rp with I dont need an SG" but then you see someone else having fun in their SG and you begin to think "well maybe, if I can find one that is worth it, and fits my criteria". So here I am listing my criteria and asking for some help in pointing me in the right direction.

1: Heavy RP (This is a must!) - However that is to say not really downer "OMG the worlds going to end!" emo rp but rather just that there is always RP going on.

2: Active! (Also a must) - People chatting on the SG channel consistently and always teams going on consisting of SG members.

3: Events - I am an event-aholic! I love get togethers, meetings, parties. This isn't a deal breaker but I would love to be in a group that is involved with the health and entertainment of the server.

4: Doesn't require me to use up one of my costume slots for a badly designed SG outfit. - Yes I know thats shallow but I like my wardrobe thank you!

5: Is run by competent individuals - I dont want to be seen as just another prestige ***** or get stuck in someones harem.

6: NO DRAMA! - This probably should have been number one on this list but you know I consider it a given.

So what do you say virtue is there anything like this that is actually around?

I'd like to offer Tangent up as a solution, but it doesn't meet all of your requirements. Specifically, we just started. We have only a handful of members, and don't have a lot of SG chat going on at any given time. Moreover, we're coalitioned with other small supergroups who, for the most part, have limited activity, as well. There is one of our coaltion members, The Invictus Foundation, who is fairly active and definitely heavy RP. You might check with them. www.invictusfoundation.com

On Wednesdays at 8:00 pm est the Celestial Sentinals get together to fight crime and other injustice and are always looking for new members . We are a static team that has been running for a few months , there is no specific costume per se , but we are kinda like the Nova Corps . We could always use a good scrapper , so if you are interested send me a pm or if you are on Wednesdays around that time , you can send a tell to Ke'ros ( my toon ) for an invite to team so you can see if this is a good fit for you

Can always give Supergroup Directory at the top of the Virtue forums a look and find a group that caters to your interest.

The Americal Legion is pretty active and RP's, Hero Dawn is active and does some RPing, same with the Justice Girls.

I honestly have no idea what other directory you were looking at, but there's the newest one.

I was really hoping for a response from those in the know, I also figure if a Community Active SG is out there they would be on the forums daily getting the pulse of the community and would answer my post, but I'll continue looking through the directory. I'm really just looking for Heavy RP SG, anything less is kind of a moot point, but thanks so far for all the kind advice!

Most heavy RP SGs don't really actively recruit on the board, the signal to noise ratio is really low. I'd say your best bet would be to look through the directory, put ((Looking for Heavy RP SG)) in your bio when you are out and about in game and see who you run into whose style you like. Both groups I'm a part of have posts in the directory, so can't offer much more than that myself

I'm not entirely sure if we meet all your criteria, Cyrsei, as only you can be the judge of that, but if you'd like to have a look around www.dauntlessreverie.com you might find our group interests you. We're a long-standing SG (with VG sister-group) that promotes RP when interacting in the general game world, its own members-only Global channel, and an active website and forum containing out of game, out of character and in-character interaction, stories, art, even some music.
The leadership are currently discussing the organisation of the next ECHO event, a halloween-style costume party that's been going since year one of the Alpha game.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, regarding the costume issue; We basically say that you can wear as much or as little of our colours as you want, so it's totally up to your personal discretion.

Well, check out the Codex! We're really active on Virtue right now, and have plenty of stories and impromtu teams and meetings going on daily.

We're well established and really couldn't care about making the top SG list, so no threats of prestige grinding here.

We do want a costume, but it's really up to your own personal wardrobe choices. Only the coloring is important. :-)

I really dont mind the whole SG costume thing if its just representing the colors, but admittedly the big points I'm trying to find is activity and heavy rp and no drama. I've noticed alot of SG's on the list are in the middle of "changing the guard" so either some one in the infrastructure has quit or what I dont know but I'm hesitant to join a group that isn't well established and doesn't have all their chickens in a row.

Ok so it seems that those groups which are holding steady are not in the middle of a change of guard and are active are only "medium" to "rp friendly". I'm sorry if I've over looked someone but I'm kind of discouraged by this, as it was my real hope to find an active heavy rp group with low aggro score. :/

I'm involved in a smallish SG that is pushing a storyline at almost insane rates. We've been on and RP'ing every night, hours each night, since I joined 13 days ago. Last night we were supposed to have a discussion about reducing the speed of story progression, but an IC event got in the way. Look me up in-game as @heffroncm if you might be interested.

I just think you're being overly picky. But I hope you find something that will make you happy.

You know what Mousy your right, I am picky. However I am not above manning up and putting my money where my mouth is. I've decided to instead of whining about not having an SG that fits my criteria, I'll just make one instead.
