There really should be some indication of which ones I'm missing in the UI, like someone suggested upthread.
I ran into a similar issue while running this yesterday. We ran the new Maria arc, got 11 of 14 AVs counting towards the badge. We went back and started the old Maria arc to get Siege and Neuron, with getting Anti-Matter separately. While in the old arc, Shadowhunter caused the bar to progress to 12 of 14. Siege? Got us 13 of 14. We took down Neuron in the old Maria's arc? Nothing, still 13 of 14. Which is odd because Shadowhunter shouldn't count towards the badge progress now, while he used to count before the arc revamp.

We then got Anti-Matter and ding! Dimensional Warder popped for both of us.

Anti-Matter doesn't appear in either the old or the new Maria Jenkins story arc, so my first guess is that it's him. He can be found in either the old or the new Tina Macintyre arc, The Praetorian War or The Instant Army in Ouroboros level 40-45 tier. In both of those arcs, he appears twice. The first time, he will teleport out at maybe 1/2 health and not count, the second time, he will stay the whole way through and will count.

Doh... 100% right... I did the MacIntyre arc via oro and got it. I take back all I said

Ran Tina's arc on my Spider from front to back and defeated all AVs offered. Ran Maria's arc and every single one of her missions, and defeated all AVs present. Defeated everyone on the list more than once, and still stuck at 12/14.

Try running the Maria's old arc in Oro and see if that triggers the last two AVs.

Dur. That's a great idea. I'll watch the counter closely and report to BS to see if we can track this down.

This is a well-known issue. Positron and Black Scorpion have posted that they are looking into it. You are missing Siege and Nightstar. Siege does not appear in the new arc and the Nightstar that appears is borked and not counting for the badge.

er, to be precise, I think just Posi posted that he and BS were investigating. They didn't both post.

Nightstar must be hit or miss then. I didn't run into the problem of missing Nightstar - she counted when we ran this. Neuron also doesn't appear in the new arc but seems to be borked as well.

It's looking like it's hit or miss on various AVs, especially those whose models have changed.

Since I ran the new arc with someone who already had the accolade, I was unaware of all the new problems in getting the badge. With the technical confusion aside, the maps, storyline, enemies, etc in this new arc is still fantastic. I love the challenge and even the small edits like red mist really help. Plus Positron posted in my thread, teehee.

Neuron appears in both revamped arcs, just like he appeared in both original arcs.

I still need to fight the revamped Seige to see how tough he is. Apparently he's been giving people problems.

I finished Maria's new arc and I ended 11 of 14 Praetorian AV defeated.
I guess those are Antimatter, Siege and Nightstar.
Im running Tina's arc using flashback, but is the revamped arc.
Im not an expert in flashback system, how can I play the old arcs? Cant find them, only the revamped.

I think you can find "A Hero's Hero" in Ouroboros, at least I did on my main...but she already had done the arc. :s

Kinda disappointed they took out Siege from the new arc, very clunky having to do the old arc to access him.

As the title of this thread states: the arc does, indeed, rock. Alas, but for the Dimensional Warder issues!

I was referred to this thread by a Senior Customer Support representative (post escalation of my support request), and, after reading through the previous five pages, I must say I am grateful for the reports of other users' experiences.

While I am happy to hear that some folk are still acquiring the badge, I am not so lucky. Through various quests (including the arcs The Instant Army, A Hero's Hero, and A Hero's Epic) I have defeated the 14 AV listed (some as actual AVs some as EBs), a good half of them multiple times, in my quest to find the right incarnation that will trigger completion. I am stuck on 12/14.

I have gone back (through wonderful powers of Ouroboros) and completed The Instant Army, A Hero's Hero, and A Hero's Epic. I have made certain that any AV with godmode powers (like Maurader and Bobcat) have had them wear off before I defeat them. I have done everything I can think of and gone back to do various suggestions in this thread. All to no avail.

Since the CSRs have told me "At this time, the issue is in the hands of the Development Team." I would like to provide the following additonal information in case this helps: even after completing The Instant Army, A Hero's Hero, and A Hero's Epic via the Pillar of Ice and Flame at my SG's base, I do not receive a star next to the listing of available missions when done.

Please keep working on this, O Kindly Devs. Again, as the subject line states: beautiful work on the new models and story flow---it does rock. However, the problems acquiring the DW badge are making this tanker (for a very small super group), a very sad panda.

Be Well,

If you want the badge before we get the fix out, try running Tina Macintyre's "The Praetorian War" StoryArc, that seems to be the one you didn't go back and re-do.

I have done both flashback Praetorian War and new revamped arc of Maria.
After defeating Anti-matter, I only got 2 Praetorian AV left:
Siege, and the other one I guess is Nightstar, the one from the old arc.
Then, were I can defeat them to get the accolade? A Hero's hero?
Because my widow is lvl 45 and lvls 45-50 are no avalaible for her in flashback yet I guess... This is a total mess! Excuse me but I dont have experience using flashback, and now Im so close to get the accolade.
I need some guiding light please

Oh my! I hadn't expect a response so soon. Neither had I expected a response from who responded!

Now while I wipe the disbelief from my eyes, I wish to thank Positron for taking the time to address my particular instance of the Dimensional Warder badge issue. Wow! and Thank you! /beam!

But alas, two things:

1) I had not written my description of my encounter with the issue as thoroughly as I had hoped---I have, in fact, done The Praetorian War arc, but neglected to include it in my listing.

2) In the Pillar of Fire and Ice at my SG's base The Praetorian War arc has a star next to it, whereas, The Instant Army, A Hero's Hero, and A Hero's Epic do not (despite doing some of them repeatedly).

No worries, though---I am now copiously assured that the devs are aware of the problems and working on it (still blown away by Positron responding specifically---woah, right? Thanks again!).

I will keep reading this thread and also do troubleshooting on my own (for the fun and challenge---to pass the time) while we eagerly await the fixes. If I discover anything that can be of use I will gladly post it.

Be Well,

But, as I've posted before, you can clear all of Maria's arcs (including the new Siege) and still not get the badge.

And, since it came up in this thread, souvenirs are no longer awarding/awarding on a limited basis and Ouroboros is no longer/improperly awarding stars for completed arcs. Pretty frustrating.

So, Posi--will this fix be retroactive for those of us who keep running these arcs? Also, has Black Scorpion gotten any of the PMs we've sent him about this issue?

Neither Siege or Nightstar are in either of Tina Macintyre's story arcs.

Tina has one stand alone Anti-Matter mission.

Tina's Praetorian War arc has:
Anti-Matter x2 (only one counts for Dimensional Warder)
Bobcat
Nueron
Shadowhunter ( doesn't count for Dimensional Warder)

Maria Jenkin's Hero's Hero arc has:
Shadowhunter (doesn't count for Dimensional Warder)
Battle Maiden
Black Swan
Bobcat
Chimera
Diabolique
Dominiatrix
Infernal
Malaise
Marauder
Nightstar
Nueron
Siege
Tyrant (doesn't count for Dimensional Warder but has Statesman's Pal badge)

Maria Jenkin's Hero's Epic arc has:
Battle Maiden
Black Swan
Bobcat
Chimera
Diabolique
Dominiatrix
Infernal
Malaise
Marauder
Nightstar (doesn't count for Dimensional Warder either in the arc or stand alone)
Nueron

I haven't tested the availability of Statesman's Pal with the new arc.

Seige is not in the new arc, he is in a stand alone mission.

Also Tyrant is not in the new arc. It is a Clone of Tyrant(Cole) called Olympian "something"

Yano... I was really looking forward to trying the new Maria Jenkins arc, but I gotta' say... My enthusiasm tanked at the very first briefing. Not only is there a missed new line (a <br that's missing its closing bracket), but the entire briefing feels like an incredibly dry infodump that doesn't feel like something someone would say, but more like the index of a book. And it has some suspect verb tense in there, like "these will be the hardest missions you will have done." ...They will be when I'm done with them? How do you know what I'll have done by then?

Anyway, this is my experience with all of one briefing screen and not much else, but I would honestly have expected a D-Mac style conversation to introduce the character's... Character and personality, I suppose. But OK, I'm fine with that. A briefing will do, but it really smacks of the same kind of... Let's just say "questionable" writing that made me never want to read another thing Montague Castanella ever had to say.

I hope I'm an idiot and I'm making a big deal out of little things and that the rest of the arc will be awesome, but I gotta' say... So far I'm not warming up to Mrs. Jenkins.

*edit*
And holy molly! Who updated Maria's bio but left GLARING typos in there anyway? This is so wrong in so many ways... In fact, let me count the ways:

"Maria Jenkins, as she called in her other identity..." - missing a "was" or an "is," as in "...as she was/is called..."

"Slowly her powers began to fade with time but she was aging quite slowly." - It slowly happened very slowly. And redundantly. And that's ignoring the fact that the continuous tense here is better replaced with the simple tense: "she aged slowly." Because she did and does.

"...in the 1930's she appeared..." - I'm pretty sure that apostrophe shouldn't be there. Though I can think of a few reason's why it was added.

"Although she is retired, Maria certainly does not look over a hundred years of age. Maria was the first to deduce Statesman's kidnapping by Tyrant years ago, and is happy to have her friend returned to her." - Maria/Maria redundancy makes it pretty obvious that whoever "updated" her bio did nothing more than append a sentence to the end, apparently without so much as reading the sentence before, let alone her entire bio, because at least one of those errors is obvious and unquestionable.

Gah! Why are text fixes such rock bottom priority that they aren't fixed even when someone actually works with the text field in question?

*edit*
The Infernal Summoning Altar mission, however, was pretty damn good. I don't know how much of that is new (I'm guessing "very little," but I'm clearly biassed), as the last time I did that mission Infernal didn't have wings, but the mission was cool. The map was very nice, with an eerie orange fog an splatters of blood right at the end, and I'm pretty sure demons performing satanic rituals on people while giant ghostly faces form in the smoke wasn't there last time. Nice touch. Infernal himself... May or may not have a new costume. I don't know. I do know he used his fire axe a grand total of ONCE, however, spending the entire fight cycling Flares, Fire Blast, Fireball an Fire Breath the entire fight. He was, consequently, a pushover, because even as an EB, Fireball does not scare me. At all.

His altar was pretty cool, and unlike CoT Behemoth portals, still had it stone structure. It spawned behemoths once, and no more scary than what a regular portal spawns, then did nothing the rest of the fight. Being that the thing is an EB itself, it was basically a Mole Machine fight. Not that I can complain.

Experience rewards were... Odd. At level 48, Infernal as an EB gave me 19 665 experience, the mission completion bonus was 27 225 experience and the portal itself as an EB gave me 58 995 experience O.o Unexpected, but I'll take it! Time to go see how Maria butchers her debriefing.
